Not gonna lie that’s pretty “exciting” if true. I mean it sucks that they potentially didn’t get it quite right at launch but if they can get even fast that would be sweet.

Edit: Newegg is out of stock on 3700x now.

 

I am an idiot , Looking at reviews all day ,for 15 + hours.
It was like a crack cocaine addiction,it was too much for me to handle. I did not buy 1 Ryzen 5 3600X I bought 2 Ryzen 5 3600X one from Newegg Canada and one from Amazon Canada.
I have no will power,I suck bad at this. Fu AMD Just Fu you won again,well played.

LOL, they are out of there minds the high end Asus boards are 700 bucks ...lmao Not in this lifetime. I mean I wasn't going to get one anyway but still. I'm just keeping my CH VII and 2700x no need to upgrade maybe next one.

 

3800X just made it as in stock at Newegg

 

Ryzen2 ram speeds review from 2400 to 4000.
3200 CL14 is the sweet spot or if you can get faster ram with tight timings.

I see you in just about every thread mention that the Canadian prices are too high.Your choice it is a free forum.I do not give a frack.
It is puzzling to me that you mention the prices of electronics in Canada as much as you do.

OK I live in Ontario.I just bought 2 X 3600X one Amazon and one Newegg . I am not getting these ripped of prices ,I do agree though some sellers do charge more but I just look for the correct price.

What province you from and why are you getting ripped off $56 Canadian dollars on 3900X because you live in Canada.

The tax rates are reasonable across Canada and lower than a whole bunch of people on this site.Imagine paying 30% Vat tax.

TLDR; no real gains.

It seems older boards(at least 3-series) are behaving a bit funky with the new bios releases as well. Probably best to wait a bit until they iron out the kinks.

Also worth watching Wendell's review, even just for the shade thrown at Intel.

 

3733MHz CL14? (Latency is too high IMO)
We need new BIOS ASAP.

Sadly my 3700x is stuck in free shipping land but I also hope they sort out that memory write speed.

Not bad, got it running on my Crosshair VI Hero board with the latest BIOS and memory is running at 3200MHz CL14 no issues at all so far

Those 2700X results were with that CPU overclocked to 4.3GHz and 4.325GHz on ALL cores as well!

Clock speeds boost to 4.65GHz as well which is nice, I do have it under an AIO though.

 

Only 3700x and 3900x was sent to reviewers. We'll have to wait for them purchase it themselves.

 

Nice boost clock AMD is on the right path to the CPU fan shills defenders club,although I do not think they will ever match the Intel club,some of them are downright psychopath goofy frackers.,now if I only did not sell my AMD shares.

Why is this showing up on my X370 board?

I have not tried it, as I only think its there because the CPU supports it, I have set these to GEN 3 to be safe.

Posted here yesterday when Newegg listed the 3800X in stock. They received their shipment late. Was sold out fairly fast. Managed to snag one as soon as the auto notify email hit my inbox at work.
