I except that games rendering paths and drivers may behave different at low resolutions (eg: tiling screen computation are usually related to screen resolution, which means a high number of tiles in high resolution may scale better in a high threaded environment than lower resolution if those computation are done by the CPU.... ). If you want IPC benchmarks then go to optimised synthetic benchmarks (and even on those, a 12-core or a 16-core Intel or AMD CPU may not scale, faking IPC performance).
But again, this is a video, so like any other video there is additional overhead due screen capture, faking results, this is why I am not a fan of video reviews and video benchmarks at all.

Pretty sure 3700X will be the chip for me.

For those that are well-versed what results from these benchmarks should I be looking at that would be relevant to programs such as Photoshop/Lightroom?

That person did not show any proof of capture on either configuration. Nor does it even show fps in real time. Those footages may have as well be stolen from other YT videos.
Considering rate at which this person produces videos, best case scenario looks like that vidoes in background are just for show and values are taken from some tech site.

But they can as well be completely made up.

Only thing I care about with the reviews are OC results and Memory compatibility. I’m more interested to see the Navi results.

Am i the only one who is weirded out by their color choices?

I could be wrong about colors, i am color blind, but it seems like they are using green to signify a negative, and red to signify a positive........that seems exactly opposite of standard lol

The Ryzen 5 3600 ($249) and 3600X ($314) cost a little more in my country, but that's what happens when you live under the iron curtain.

    These aren't very good benchmarks.

First thing I noticed was that the 2600X/2700X are using slower RAM speeds, which makes it a poor comparison against last gen, if not to purposely skew results. And as people pointed out, while the low resolution is good for some benchmarks, it's shitty as a real-world comparison.

I mean, these processors are impressive regardless, but if first-gen Ryzen has taught me anything, it's to wait for the eventual revision, if not simply wait out the rush and hype the with the cutting-edge early adopters, and the associated price premium.
