The wrong color at end of driver install still happens (Lime color again!)
Thankfully after a restart of windows issue is gone.

multi monitor bug is not even mentioned in the known issues

Installed successfully on Vega and no weird colors again.

 

Interesting... since few releases (i do not remember which one exactly) amd stopped supporting mantle api and it doesn't install with a driver but... mantle .dll files are still present in installer.

Out of curiosity i just checked the sinking city and performance didn't change.

 

On my system it happens more often after a DDU, and less after a regular clean install via the setup option.
As I was typing this with the installation going on the background, I was greeted with a green screen.

And again, there's no need to even reboot, re-plug or mess with resolution. Just do ctrl+shift+win+b, this restarts the display driver and monitor colors go back to normal.

 

i did have over bright brightness on install but after restart all was fine.
all working perfect as usual.

 

Memory clock still stuck on maximum.

 

Anyone knows how to avoid high gpu clock on netflix store app?

On rx580 clock goes to 1050mhz when watching netflix. Gpu usage is low, but the high clock makes the fans turn on from time to time.

I dont even use 4k, just 1080.

So in the span of two days, we have a 19.6.2 refresh and a 19.6.3. It's good to see that AMD is pushing out updates often and taking the time to touch up on older drivers.

 

And an another is coming very soon with new features...The reviewers i believe already got that one. v19.7.1.

 

Navi support then and it's features such as the way it does upscaling+sharpening was it?
Wonder if they'll eventually patch that for existing GPU hardware too or cite hardware limitations as a problem though I think that was accurate for some things although for others software would probably also have been a good second method of support.

And whatever else the drivers might contain if it's another jump to a newer branch again, guess it's that and support for Win10 20H1 for the current insider drivers and whatever is going to happen for the December 2019 update after that.
