It looks like Quantic Dream’s games are jumping beyond Sony’s consoles. In a partnership with Epic Games, Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human are all coming to PC and will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store. These ports will be available at an undetermined time for an unknown price later this year. Even though Epic Games is part of this deal, it doesn’t mean that these games will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store forever. Instead, the games have a one-year exclusivity deal, meaning it is likely that these games will jump to Steam or distribution platforms after that timer expires.
Oh well, there go a few more. Seems to be popular now, same with finding the game flower from PS3's early days now pop up in steam. Made me smile
You could watch those on youtube and not miss out on anything Since they're on the epic store, the only way to buy them will be on epic so no gmg, humble, etc. Enjoy higher prices
This is fantastic news. I've been a huge fan of Quantic Dream since The nomad Soul and Fahrenheit. Haven't watch any game play of Heavy Rain or Beyond: Two Souls cuz I thought this might happen one day. I watched a full play through of Detroit, BH though. Not long ago...I should have waited. Super happy this happening no matter what!!! I welcome Quantic Dream back to platform!!! Even if it's only on epic store.
I bought Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls for my PS3 back in the day (which was later thrown out to the streets), but you lost me at "exclusive to the Epic Games Store"...
And again 1 year exclusivity... change the f-in record already On a side note given the games I was almost certain this was an early April fool's joke. Turned out it was just a joke, then.
At this rate all AAA and Indie game releases this year will be 1 year exclusives to the EGS. Is Valve even trying to stop this or are they just happy selling the vaporware and asset-flip trash on their platform?
I bought Heavy rain and the DLC on the PS3, along with the motion controllers........and it is still sitting there, unplayed, never got around to playing it. lol
Well, no loss there. Zero interest in these games, tried Heavy Rain on PS3... yeah, for a story it's interesting. As a game it's boring as hell.
Yeah so, Heavy Rain, an 18 year old game remastered in 2016 is now ported and out on EGS in 2019. Opinions on the game? Anyone actually buy it?
eh detroit looked interesing enough but most of his games are a mess. heavy rain they changed the story in the middle so half the game is going one way plot wise and then it just changes abruptly? detroit was heavy handed as hell, but it was the most coherant game the guy has made and allegedly the first game he got a free hand. so hey. Still epic i would not be that into checking it out. I did watch pewdiepie stream it, and a few other stresms showing different paths and options already also.
Heavy rain is riddled with glaring plot holes and inconsistencies. It's still fun enough though. Never played the other two based on their reception.
My brother played HeavyRain on his PS and at some scene i told him who i think the killer is. Not gonna spoil it here but he turned around to me and said 'Wow! You already know that?' (he was on his 2nd playthrough) I should've been a profiler !
