Yeah this input lag reduction is decoupled from frame rates. So you don't need 144FPS in order to reduce input lag. That's major news!!!

Why is everyone wearing AMD shirts? OK, its an AMD event, but it makes it look like they are talking to their own staff. :D

On the Video Benches... is it PCIexpress (2070) 3.0 vs (5700XT)3.0 or 3.0 vs 4.0?
I'd like to know how the Video card is 3.0 vs 3.0 myself. If the boost is because of 4.0, then you have to buy a complete AMD overhaul, CPU, MB, Video.

I love AMD crap but the stream is cringey with showing those same people over and over although there is not many people there so not much of a choice i guess.

Couple first row - AMD employee? :3

Not that surprised by the pricing. AMD GPU pricing speculation are always insanely overly optimistic.

Ah well, il stick with my 8700k and rtx2080 till next year and see what nvidia and intel release then.

Im just not impressed with the amd 3900x cpu, so il prob end up with intel 10nm whenever it comes, my pc should handle most games for a while anyway

A $329 rtx 2070 price tag would stop this whole show....

Anyone can do it with wasteful bandwidth and inferior IQ. NVENC was always bad. Good encoding on 1440p has lower bandwidth requirements and higher IQ than what you mentioned.
Secondly, I would not watch stream of someone who just pushes me such amount of data. And I bet Twitch would hate you for restreaming that.

(Btw. if you did hear them. real time 4K encoder at 60fps.)
And put nVidia out of business. 2070 = 2080 on silicon level. That thing is costly to make.
They did compare products at similar price tags this time. While undercutting similar or worse product from competition. Just get 3700X if you want.

And the trashtalker fanboyist are back. Can't you just make your point without harrassing or trashing people out? jeez

I stream 4K on youtube thanks to NVENC, and i've always great comment regarding picture quality.

Youtube recommended birates for 4K60Fps is minimum 50MBt/s

edit: actually, those are for uploads, for live stream 4K60Fps recommended bitrates: 20,000 - 51,000 Kbps

But who cares, you're so biased you'll find reason to hate it anyway. Youtube is doing the live encoding of 1440p60,1080p60,720p60,480,.. from my 4K60, and they all look great.

The CPUs left out were the 3700X and 3800X. The extra four cores most likely do not have all that much of an impact. GPU...not worth the cost of the upgrade. The refresh prices of the 2070 ($399) 2080($599). AMD failed to deliver. They are functioning, really sad, with outdated information. CPU yes. GPU was hoping...just no.

That's how 4K works. Have same amount of compression artifacts on 1080p and your eyes will bleed. Quadruple pixel count and suddenly you'll not even see issues.
IQ of compression has been compared over years over and over again. Results never changed. CPU compression delivers much higher IQ at much lower bandwidths than GPU.
And on GPUs NVENC lost to AVC. And not that I would recommend AVC either.
I saw 5~10% more powerful GPU on average being sold at 10% lower price. And I saw meaningfully improved IQ. And that's with current state of driver optimizations.

And I saw damn interesting die shot.
