Loved the first one, but felt adding the carts made the whole game so much more enjoyable, if some kind of transport were possible early on that would be fantastic, a nice blend of climbing and driving (but not in a shitty Arkham Knight way!)
The Following was great, buggy worked like a dream. Not sure we will have something like this in 2, looks very urban, unless another expansion. Hopefully they are keeping Coop option!
Can't say this trailer looked interesting. They said a lot of things last year that should make this an interesting game yet this looks like something that would fit dying light 1.. Where's my choice based RPGfication
Absolutely loved first one, coop was so good. Excited to play DL2 but gotta wait anopther 11 months...baaah! sucks!
I really liked Dying Light but personally feel if I see yet another zombie game... I didn't even bring myself to finish the DLC for DL and probably never will. Not the game's fault though, but just enough is enough.
I'm excited about this one. Played many hours of the first one. Hopefully the main character isn't as annoying as the first one (Kyle Crane). From the trailers it seems better so far.
Glad to see a Steam page, wondered with Techland being independent if Epic were going to try and snatch this one up. But, Techland did say they wouldn't go against what the fans wanted.
So glad you can actually block now. Combat against the alive is really bad in Dying Light, but it looks like they improved on that a lot. World looks very dense and really cool to explore.
I wish Techland would do another Chrome, complete with B-rated Sci-Fi storyline and Jon St. John as voice actor. This zombie crap bores the hell out of me.
I didnt like fighting humans in the first game i dont think i'll like it here too. Game is about zombies and survival. looking forward to this.
I liked Dead Island and Riptide for their take on the genre and keeping a overall darker turn even if it comes down to being human problems in the end. Dying Light refined the movement and combat but also made for some goofier moments and more humor but I suppose it wasn't too bad while not completely bleak aside from the occasional player character quip in Dead Island and Riptide. (The Following then decides to go right back at it keeping some goofiness but otherwise it's all downwards.) From my understanding Dying Light 2 is all about the story and human conflict and these little semi political and faction systems and how that all works with zombies taking a side role instead and they also hired in writes such as Avellone though I haven't followed much since these early E3 presentations and reveals though it will be fun to see what's changed and what the new "C" engine can do over the prior iterations of Techlands in-house Chromium Engine developed since the early 2000's or so and then this major overhaul happened which I hope bodes well for some of the limits the engine has had even if the updates have also enhanced it significantly since the "Chrome" days and other early FPS titles and games they were doing at that time. EDIT: Runner zombies can be a real pain though or infected and what other names they might have.
