Don’t know man. They added support for free-sync because they saw the market was going that way. It’d make sense to add hdmi 2.1

There are tiny things called Serdes which need to be node shrunk and factored into the design, without a 7nm shrink the turing products will be using existing serdes from the pascal era. it makes no sense to spend money where it doesn't need to be.

I actually don't believe these news. I certainly believe that a price drop is coming close to release of Navi and of course something 'super' is along the way, which I guess is even faster card than RTX 2080 Ti. That would be something you call super.

I read these comments about socialism and capitalism and all I can say is these bogus news and fake articles on media, or at least very biased and exaggerated ones, are part of any constitution, but in capitalism investors/shareholders want to manipulate people like this to shift stocks and whatnot. Thankfully these news don't always affect too much common people, rather the rich ones, but all in all capitalism is hard to understand and certainly not for very simple minded people. The problem is there are simple people equally in every country and capitalism is not for those who cannot read through the lines or think individually. Other constitutions have their own issues.

Back to the topic: It would be pretty weird to have some 'super models' right next to existing ones, while being cheaper than the current ones. Would the existing stock be sold with even lower price than the super models? I don't think so, it's just way easier to focus on the 7 nm refresh and drop current prices.

The only reason these Nvidia "super" are coming out is to counter Navi. The 2060, 2070 and maybe the 2080 will have Navi counterparts. Not the 2080ti, so no point in refreshing that.

I hope this is true. I need to get a 2080 so I can play Quake 2 RTX, but the current pricing is ridiculous.

I was hoping something super will come and on the end its only TU104.
I dont care if TU104 can have max 3072 in nvidia anounce was somthing super will come and this is nothing.
3500 shader count 2080 card format can be good offer for 599EUR.

Nobody knows what or when anything is coming out for Nvidia's future. RTX performance relies most heavily on core architecture power, not amount of Vram. I would feel worse if I bought an 8gb card that get's whooped by a 6gb non RTX card. You could put 24gb on a 2080ti and I guarantee it would still perform pretty much the same as a stock card. See what I did there, haha...

You should be fine with a 1660 Ti. Even a 2060 would be fine as well but likely the boundary for most modern games (not all games however).

My kitchen looks rather graphic after some cooking experiments. But that's as close as one can get to graphics card.

The somewhat real value I see is at RTX 2060.

+2 GB, a bit faster and cheaper. If it's true, that would be an excellent purchase for older than 10 series owners.

When they double the RTX processing power so FPS doesn't feel like you've deployed a drag shoot, I'll gladly buy a new 2180 TI - provided it stays under $1,000. I bought a 1070 TI (unused) for about $299 a year ago and have zero regrets. Hopefully by then there will be a 4K 55" or 60" 32:9 screen with 144hz refresh rate. (Oh and some non SJW games that make upgrading my video card worth it - AKA - let me choose my gender - isn't that what the SJWs keep saying - why am I supposed to be a woman now?)

Probably but I don't think I'd get over paying $1500 for a video card that from the beginning makes me feel like it isn't ready for prime time.

Dunno but i can list you some forcing you to be a man ;) It's really funny the way some people see the world. A game force you to be a man it's no trouble. A game force you to be a woman oh the atrocity it's the end of the world.
