I installed this after learning about the xbox app being scrapped in favor of a new desktop experience for 1903+. Two weird issues so far - installing the microcode update breaks windows sandbox. The defer feature update setting disappeared even though it was there at first boot. I managed to set it at 60 days and the registry entry confirms it but it's now missing from the gui. I only have the option to pause or defer quality updates. Start/action center are glitch prone as usual for uwp crap but otherwise it's fine. No major issues.

I was trying to remember what i did to make it go away until i saw your post.
Selecting dismiss it never appeared again for me as well.
This is on a clean install if it makes any difference.

Very very nice, but why do you have an IE icon on taskbar? :)

    WTF..

Windows just downgraded my graphics driver from nvidia 430.97 to 430.86 without me even asking or changing any kind of settings that would trigger it

apologies if this has been discussed, but I'm running 1809 win10 and I still have no option under update to upgrade to 1903?
I don't really want to force it using upgrade assistant. Any ideas? Just be patient?

You may wind up waiting a long time, or even never get the invite. Just use the updater, no reason not to.

Does settings->system->about this pc show anyone else's screen as a touchscreen even though they do not have one? I have an ordinary monitor but 1903 thinks it is a "touch support with 10 touch points".

Hmm ... I don't have anything related to touch screens in device manager so I don't know why it is showing that. Are you using the latest nvidia driver? 430.97?

Similar setup here. I sent it in feedback hub so hopefully it will be rectified. At least it isn't interfering with my usage.

some quotes from this Softpedia news article, chr!s:
    https://news.softpedia.com/news/win...-with-a-manual-check-for-updates-526324.shtml

better do what Chastity or Undying said and just manually download the 1903 updater or installer if you want to update 1903 right away and not wait for it.

thanks all > I manually upgraded as suggested. It's my work laptop, so was a bit anxious that things like my VPN software etc might break. But everything working fine. Too lazy to do a fresh install xD maybe later.

    Cumulative Update KB4503293 Windows 10 v1903 build 18362.175

    Improvements and fixes
This update includes quality improvements. Key changes include:

    • Addresses a security vulnerability by intentionally preventing connections between Windows and Bluetooth devices that are not secure and use well-known keys to encrypt connections, including security fobs. If BTHUSB Event 22 in the Event Viewer states, “Your Bluetooth device attempted to establish a debug connection….”, then your system is affected. Contact your Bluetooth device manufacturer to determine if a device update exists. For more information, see CVE-2019-2102 and KB4507623.
    • Security updates to Windows Virtualization, Microsoft Scripting Engine, Internet Explorer, Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Windows Input and Composition, Windows Media, Windows Shell, Windows Server, Windows Authentication, Windows Cryptography, Windows Storage and Filesystems, Windows SQL Components, the Microsoft JET Database Engine, and Internet Information Services.
If you installed earlier updates, only the new fixes contained in this package will be downloaded and installed on your device.

For more information about the resolved security vulnerabilities, please refer to the Security Update Guide.
