No "Microsoft" didn't. Creative broke its own drivers by using completely wrong driver signing practices.
Can confirm. Microsoft fubard a lot with 1903 creative drivers not being one of them. Creative already has that one down to a science.
Ater clean install , and so many days with 1903, its stable and fast, havent seen any problems at all.
Can please someone explains, how these DPC spikes happen if I don't do anything in Windows, I leave it on a Windows desktop? I would understand It would go high if I start more applications/games at once or do some video editing, but if I leave it without doing anything, it does not make a sense to me. For now, I didn't get any audio stutters or stuttering in games, but LatencyMon shows high values.
I decided to disable the SysMain service, its process caused random ingame stuttering due to thread high usage (100% of one logical core) a couple of time in a day.. Nothing dramatic, but I have enough of this bullshìt and losing 1 second of boot time is not a drama..
Thats the million dollar question. No one knows. It does cause stutter in games but for audio it didnt seem to affect my audio that much. Something is screwed up in the kernel in 1903.
microsoft didn't enforce the service binary signing till 1903, up till 1809 you could get away with not having properly signed service binaries if you did upgrade installs. also im 100% sure 10 didn't launch till 2015.
Has anyone figured out for to get rid of annoying language "popup" appearing on the right of the screen every time you press shift+alt?
I have been searching for a solution for this issue since i upgraded to 1903 and i'm still searching.. It must be a bug or something!
Same here, a few month ago I even found some insiders thread mentioning that this will hopefully be fixed before the release but apparently MS thought this was a useful feature
Hopefully it will be fixed soon.. IF they have this bug listed already on their bug list for 1903..! Will see..
No, i am pointing you where to disable the key mapping. Not to disable all of the language switching.
I changed the "switch input language" to ctrl+shift rather than left alt + shift because in games i use a lot shift & alt and sometimes the annoying language popup shows up! I hope this will fix the issue.
First time that pop up popped up, all that was done was to select dismiss and it went away never to appear again.
I see what you mean but this won't change much because language "window" will still show up every time I'll switch input (unless I disable switching completely) I can already see new revolutionary features of 20H1 - no more annoying pop-ups when changing language!
