There is a rumor surrounding the NVIDIA Super Teaser Trailer that appeared a few days ago, the rumor suggests that NVIDIA will release new (refreshed) RTX 2060, 2070 and 2080, and that they will be $249, $399 and $599 respectively.

The rumor also suggests that it will be presented at E3 2019, where AMD is also expected to make some more reveals regarding Navi.

Sigh... these are the what the prices should have been at launch. We really need competition from AMD to stop Nvidia from abhorrent GPU prices.

I'm sure they'll do something like this to try to distract from AMD. Gonna be interesting how it plays out.

Wait, if those SuperCharged 2060/2070/2080 gettintg 100$ price cut- what does it mean for the current "slower" 2060/2070/2080 pricing?

    a slightly faster 2060 at 249 msrp ... is actually a good deal ^^

my guess would be nothing they will wait till the stock is out or almost out and then roll out the super ones.

Might be intersting for 1000 series users.

I actually been looking at the MSI RTX 2070 Gaming X 8G, but it still goes for €600, which should be like €475.

This is good news. My thoughts are why, if they rule in this area of performance even if the cards are to expensive for me. Do they know something about Navi to respond like this? I am an AMD fan but not an nVidia hater. I own shares in both and have made a nice bit of money from both. nVidia share price has taken a serious beating, so its also possible they have nothing to worry about with Navi or they have no idea and they are hoping this gets the share price back on track

I still don't think the 2XXX series is a worthwhile upgrade for 1XXXX owners, certainly not for those with a 1080 or 1080Ti. If this is true, it sounds like a typical nVidia move, trying to milk the existing product line for all its worth. Hopefully AMD can put some pressure on them with Navi to at least get the prices down to something more reasonable.

So, if we are to believe this. Where does it leave something like 1660Ti with $279 MSRP?

Or are those cards "SE" of old times? Not stronger, but cut down (weaker) versions?

Many possibilities exist, but something somewhere has to give space or it has to fit into current price map.

This is a normal Nvidia move, to refresh or enhance their products when competition may challenge them. Like the 1070ti quickly released after Vega 56 arrived, or the 1660ti just after RX590. If true, I can only guess they will discount and phase out the earlier products to make way for the refreshed ones.

This is the main reason i stayed with my 1080ti, the RTX is such new tech that unless you really need the upgrade its worth sitting back and seeing how well its adopted.

It's like you've been not paying attention at all to how Capitalism works. It basically controls how you live your life and your experiences every single day... C'mon man, wake up.

If you're paying attention in life nothing about Capitalism should surprise you..

HDMI 2.1 is already here on 2019 LG oled TVs which mean they now have some kind of freesync variant, black frame insertion etc...making them a potentially excellent oled gaming "monitor" (13ms input lag which apparently is great for a tv)
I won't buy a card before they have it, several RTX buyers are furious about it already.

Another reason I'm glad I stuck with my 1080ti. So the 2080ti remains $1300. F that.
