How can I block AMD from wanting to update my Catalyst driver? This is on an AMD system running Windows 7 Pro. I have disabled every AMD service that seems safe to disable but I keep getting annoying notifications every time I log on.

    Block it on your firewall?

    If I knew what
Thanks. If I knew what to block. Or maybe not, since my firewall is maxed out on the number of sites that it can block.

However If I knew the offending site I could probably block it by the hosts file. I don't think I want to globally block AMD.

I think they are. It's not a Windows notification it's a window that pops up. But I will double check next time I log on.

I can delete notifications in CCC but I don't see a way to disable notifications.

Getting back to this: the offending task seems to be InstallManagerApp.exe. It was being started from Task Scheduler. I have now deleted the entry from Task Scheduler. We will see what happens.
