I have an appointment Friday. Just wanted to know how others have dealt with it. I'm assuming that's what I have based on the google searches.
Major thing is to rule out the cancer stuff - blood tests. Next thing is to check the size of the prostate - ultrasound test. I did tests - no cancer but some minor swelling (adenoma, iirc). Doctor prescribed six months of one specific drug pills and then repeat tests and another visit.
Wait and see what the doctor tells you, don't make assumptions or look for answers yourself prior. You said yourself you've an appointment soon, you can drive yourself nuts looking stuff like this up on google and trying to guess.
@Darkest he is asking for his friend. Not for himself. Your post is directed to him. Please correct it to be directed to his friend. Edit: so in the other posts, he says it's for him..... This is confusing. Does he and his friend both have the same issue?
I was about to respond to you regarding the rest of the thread, but you've clearly read it given your edit. Either he's worried and didn't want to make it seem like it was about him, or he's letting his friend post on his account. I'm going to assume the prior, but who knows?
I was asking for myself, facetiously. Anyways, Doc indeed said it was Prostatitis. I got blood work and urine done, he shoved his finger inside my ass knuckle deep and did a clockwise swirl. Everything seemed to check out. Put me on Cipro antibiotic and started feeling better almost immediately. This is apparently a common issue for morons my age up until 50s.
Xanthium spinosum + Epilobium parviflorum taken over large periods of time. Had a chronic urinary infection many years ago from a kidney stone. Also, prostate was damaged from abrasions while eliminating the stone and from the aftermath infection. Pain was at level 9 from 1 to 10. My urologist prescribed antibiotics but insisted on taking the Xanthium spinosum He saved my mojo, so to say. Kegel exercises and Xanthium spinosum + Epilobium parviflorum gave me the joy of a teenager... and in that dark time I just couldn't...function. Hope that it helps. Wish you good health, and good news from your doctor. Cheers,
