What device are you upgrading to in 2018 ?

They have improved it further in P30 - there's no need to even turn the night mode on (unless one wants HDR like effect). Gotta say, the RYYB sensor really works.

 

Looks like a possible contender when I upgrade next, or the P40 if there is one, still got over a year left on my S9

 

All I can say is, thank God for my phone case because otherwise, I would be buying a new phone already. For some reason, I have dropped my phone about 4 times in the last couple of months and more times than I did in the previous 3 years combined.

 

I've never broken a phone but the these glass sandwiches are so slippery that they slide on their own so they do need something to prevent that...

 

I bought a thin spigen case for my S9 because the bezels are so thin it was impossible to take a photo without touching the screen and changing modes, and also glass both sides

 

I will upgrade my phone when it DIES I will never do this upgrade everyear to knew phone, considering how expensive they where and are getting.

 

My Samsung Galaxy S4 has finally reached the point where it's too sluggish and the battery life is so short I decided to upgrade, went with the Huawei P Smart 2019, so far very impressed, fast and responsive and so cheap compared to a similar spec "brand" name phone.

 

An used 15" MBP for coding. And Galaxy S10 a month ago

 

I reached the same point with my s4... it has Really served me well for the 6 years i've had it... dropped it countless times and nothing has ever happened, cause it's just a plastic phone... got a new battery for it twice (they are dirt cheap), but the battery still ran dry waaaay too fast... and then when i dropped the phone in a glass of water and the sd card reader died, then i couldn't prolong it anymore... time for a new phone.

I had a few demands for a new phone... not any bigger than my s4, top end hardware, and most importantly - no curved screen! (those screens are only made to make the phone break faster).

The only phone to match this just came out, the samsung s10e... bought it in white, and i am loving it ! Never used a cover for my s4, and don't want to use one for this one either - makes the phone alot bigger, and ruins the otherwise great looks... just have to be more careful, as this glass phone is deffo alot more fragile than the s4.

 

Rocking the Mate 20 X for three months, it does not get better than that.

Huge 7.2 inch screen, 5000mah battery, great SAMOLED display, great cameras, AMAZING speakers, headphone jack, and EMUI is just getting better.

 

In other words you got a tablet, not a phone.

 

Kinda, but it's what i wanted, Huawei got the perfect phone for me in all fronts, can't see anything that can replace it in the nearby future.

 

Regarding battery life, just get a charger for the car ?

 

Is that enough?

 

Why wouldn't it be? I get 7+ hours of screen time on my s10e... more than enough to last a day at work... and then you just charge it in the car on your way home

 

Bought a Samsung S10+ 128GB, after which I'd sold off my LG G7+ ThinQ. Am thinking of selling off my Samsung Tab S2 and getting a Xiaomi Mediapad 4, though I may just hang on to the Tab S2 as I've just gotten a Tab S5e (came with an AKG Y500 BT headphone).

Smooth transition so far from IOS to andoird but from a software perspective, I feel I like IOS better

Speakers are super loud and great, you have nothing to worry about.
