Turing doesn't get anything from these either. It did get some performance with 425.xx vs 418.xx though.

I'm having 2 issues with this driver:
    • nvcontainer executable hogging 1 cpu core. It's not there on startup, but when resuming from sleep or when gaming a bit, it starts.
    • Hitman 2 DX12 freezes: See steam thread here.
I'm reverting to the 425.xx driver for now.

Edit: I'm on W10 1809. Not touching 1903 until it's really, definitely, ready for release. I've been burned by Insider Preview too many times :)

Welp. Just do it. Been running 1903 for a couple of weeks now. Just remember to redo your drivers when it's done updating, because invariably, some of them will be corrupted or have legacy settings.

They make money selling our information.

I wonder if giving us buggy telemetry to install on our PC's is lawsuit worthy?

Just think of all the people who will have high CPU usage and not even know it.

Surprised they haven't removed the driver from their site yet...

I think you're repeating yourself. And the oddity of your obliviousness to your own obsession???
This is an enthusiast forum where you would expect folks to post benches. It is not expected to have OCD types pollute every thread with their fears over telemetry. I believe my take is more in line with sanity.

Probably nobody barring an actual driver bug. I don't touch the drivers other than not installing the 3D vision and Gefarce Exploder. I do not disable any of the telemetry from Windows 10, either. My bench scores are all in the top 99th percentile for my set up. I must be doing it wrong. Folks that disable telemetry and whinge about bugs, are in the same class as those that whinge about privacy...on... Farcebook. In the past folks would have asked for some sort of evidenced for you demand they pull a driver. Now, would be an excellent time.

Nvidia is sharing your personal data with the NSA, your credit card details with shady hackers and your porn site browsing history with dildo manufacturers. Just like Google, although google perhaps on a grander scale, its 'cooler' to focus on Nvidia driver telemetry because thats what knowledgeable tech folks do.

Sorry but this forum's description says "In this section, you can discuss everything GeForce driver related." including telemetry... not just benchmarks.

And we won't even mention to get 1903 you have to enable full telemetry to M/S
On topic on 1903 these drivers are running good in BFv no BSODs or anything, on 1809 not so good

I for one appreciate the posts about it. Keep it up. If it wasn't for the post detailing how to fix the CPU issue I would have had to roll back to a previous driver without understanding what was going on exactly. Do people really want a tech forum to stop discussing technical stuff? Go to some other forums then.. this stuff is important whether you want to believe it or not. 15% CPU usage for telemetry IS a big deal bug or not. It's important to discuss this.

if its problem to you, i dont see no harm of removing whats unnecessary (files etc) and with that you can put it out of your mind

Nvidia have acknowledged a bug in these drivers and they are working on a fix here: https://forums.geforce.com/default/...hread-released-4-23-19-/post/6036972/#6036972

Blocking anything Nvidia related with my interactive ESET firewall stops Nvidia collecting anything about me to harvest. I would encourage others to use an interactive firewall to block activities such as Nvidia's or use Windows Firewall to deny access.

Don't know if its been mentioned yet or not, but there's another bug in these drivers. I've reverted to 425.31, which was fine.

BUG: The fullscreen player controls do not hide after ~3 seconds, when HTML5 video playback in the Netflix Win10 App occurs. This also happens in MS Edge. Firefox and Chrome seem to be unaffected, but at the same time they don't support 1080p or higher resolution playback of Netflix content (source).

Can you let me know if you are still seeing this same issue with our newest hotfix driver we released yesterday? We were able to reproduce this with driver 430.39 but we are unable to get any kind of repro with our hotfix driver.

I am not seeing this problem. Can you fill out the driver feedback form below and include the name of a title you are seeing this problem with?
