Biggest red flag is the review embargo, just the day before the release. Gonna define whether or not I buy.
Hmmm...according to some new footage i've seen, apparently you can fast travel but only if your bike has enough fuel to cover that particular distance. Not sure i like that. Yes, it's realistic, but that will take a lot of time to fast travel then right? At least fast travel should be implemented without managing your own resources or am I wrong here?
here's some new video: Not sure if I am willing to pay full price for this! What to do? what to do? i do have other games to play for now... Don't get me wrong, I like the game but have other games to finish as well.
yeaaah, pretty much what i expected - more or less. Goes on my "buy it on sale in 3 or 4 months" list, not worth the 70$ standard edition premium.
I will definitely play this one (love the setting, the story apparently is really good), but not now, I'll wait a few months for some more patching to improve the performance, and some price drop as well
The only real question is how many Days Gone are required until the price matches the actual game value? sorrynotsorry, had to it
The technical implementation is really good, and the attention to detail as well. They did work on this game for 7 years so would expect that from them. I also think that the unreal engine was a good choice. All in all, I‘m impressed on how the game looks and feels from the videos that I‘ve seen so far. I will wait a few months before buying it though, as I am quite involved with TD2 atm.
One word. Masterpiece. Graphics really good, i swear some times i think it has ray tracing. Gameplay really intense, melee and stealth are my favorite but the guns really have a nice punch. Missions really impressive, even thought like 99% of games out there you have to do same things multiple times they still feel different, either the AI is acting different or there's a procreating hoard next to your objective or you miss something because its not in the same location as last time The bike, the fact that the bike takes damage and uses gas makes for an intense gameplay, you will think twice about just heading out into the world or ramming crap. The world, wow, i usually don't waste time searching every little corner of the world in games, only some games manage to make me do that out of pleasure, this one does. The world looks so real and it feels dead but you really have the feeling people lived in the locations and you feel the need to enter every house, garage, warehouse and so on. Performance is ok, feels like 30 didn't saw any deeps until now (10-15 hours in) or bad texture pop-ins, playing on PS4PRO. Immersion is all over the damn place, lighting, sound (recommend playing with headset), voice acting and facial animation all come together really nice (one note here i did notice a facial animation bug, where the animation from NPC's partially disappears.. Like all Sony games its story driven and a really good story even thought its zombies again. This is game that deserves a 9. As a overall vibe it feels like a Last of Us open world.
