Shadow Of The Tomb Raider DX12 works with no crashing, all DX 12 games runs without crash. only GPU driver, HD Audio, USB C are updated, PhysX software is missing but as long you have the software of PhysX install it work fine (Borderlands 2 GOTY PhysX works).

Doesn't have anything to do with this driver, but if you have a Creative soundcard do yourself a favor and don't upgrade. None except maybe the X-FI soundcards work. Now I have to 'enjoy' the on-board sound until they fixed it......

My Audigy FX which is not a x-fi card works fine using microsoft drivers and the creative package for the control panel

My PCI-E SoundBlaster X-Fi sound card after the update was problematic, it was detected and there was sound but the all features, and control panel stop working, I had to re-install it, and then it works like it should.
    So that works perfectly,
when it comes to the 430 drivers, I try them install no error seemed fine, till I start BF V then it randomly drops frames + freezes whole PC.
Try to play 3 full matches, but without luck.
Revert back to 419.67 and its working like a charm, So I highly recommand to uninstall this insider driver 430 asap.
They have WDDM 2.6 but still, better stay for public release from NVIDIA with proper support for the 1903 build

Are you on 1903 or 1809?

Interesting, thanks. I've only seen the X-Fi card had problems (no sound etc), and Creative then released an update for it.

This depends on the build of Windows 10. I have 1809 and I have WDDM 2.5, even if I installed this version of the driver.

What did you mean by "bypassing DWM", you expected DWM to shutdown when in fullscreen mode?

I was about to ask the same thing. The new borderless fullscreen seems to work fine for me. Even madVR has no trouble pushing 10bit in SDR desktop mode without going exclusive and ALT+TAB is fast with DX11 games. Sometimes there is a little "flashing" during the switch though (like when I bring up the media player's seekbar).

Guys, is this driver any good for 1070 Notebook? If it's not, then please suggest another recent one that is good in terms of perf and stability. Thanks!

I have a GTX 1060 and games work without any problems. ;)

    I don't understand your query. :(

I just discovered that with 1903 madvr does 10 bit video in fullscreen windowed mode, probably through the infamous full-screen optimizations feature.
It might be one of the features of the new WDDM, it wasn't possible before.
10 bit madvr output was available only in fullscreen exclusive.

Would installing an older driver work? (Wddm 2.3 or 4) idk.

Massive memory leaks in div2 and shadow of a tomb raider. Can literally watch it rise steady all the way to 16 and crash.
