Precisely because there are still cards with a more than acceptable performance is that they must continue to support them.
Even today, the 680 is a little faster than the 1050 so its holders can still feel satisfied that their cards can honorably lift current games after 7 years.

    https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-680-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1050/3148vs3650

For my part, I am more than satisfied with the performance of my pair of 780Ti, which as they come from the factory (>1000mhz) together give me a performance similar to that of a 1080 (this in games that take advantage of SLI).
It has time that I want to change for a single card, but I am aware that I will have to spend another amount of money to get a card similar performance to the one that gives me this pair.

why must? is NV product and have all rights for anything ...
dont get my vrong i dont approve this but i understand NV have bigest worries like support old graphics card
and still new driver is not something god and better especialy for old cards generaly

Kepler will be supported for another year or so, until the next family arrives on 7nm.

Yes for me the graphics look slightly out of focus and the edges of images don't look as sharp. also gaming isn't as smooth.
Back on 425.11 and everything is fine.

419.67 GRD is the best overall for my system, driver 430.00 wasn't smooth and GOW4 /ROTTR didn't bench well for my system, other games were about the same performance, no biggie :D
    430.25 works well, currently testing.
No rays for GTX on this 430.25 driver.

So people are pre-cleaning drivers out of unfounded paranoia. That doesn't explain the few people here who even refuse to download an un-pre-cleaned driver. So we got people cleaning drivers for people because they are so lazy they can't be bothered to delete their own folders. Or they can't spare the extra 200mb download, which I have a hard time believing.

You should have taken some screenshots, that seems pretty crazy.

That would be its only defect, along with the 3gb, but for what it cost me this pair, ~250usd a few more than a year ago, I am more than satisfied.

I hope it was a joke anyway.
Besides, the original argument is false. You can't untick everything you can remove by deleting folders. Period. I know the education system's main purpose is to raise compliant worker bees but f'f'sake... don't call propel stupid when they want to walk on their own reasonable paths.

Hmm yep was testing these with Division 2 and was getting stutters after some time playing, seems i ended up with 28+GB Memory (private working set) and 49GB+ memory (private bytes) being used by the game (32GB system, 2080Ti)

Well, that doesn't exactly apply in this case, does it? The 430 set has no folders to delete, as all the files are just bunched together ;) Good luck sorting that one out, also, the NVSlimmer tool will not cut it either, as they are not the standard .exe install type, hence, I'll never be installing them. :)

if some of us didn't find these issues, your precious release driver would have them.
