why not? same driver, same performance, UWP app, less annoyance when updating, and it will become the standard soon enough, so may as well get used to it.

Please explain. Also does nvcp load any faster being a UWP app?

no, but once you go DCH, and just use DCH installers, you never have to worry about errors halting your install. And Standard is so 2012. Plus it meshes well on Optimus systems which have DCH drivers only now from Intel.

They aren't RS6 builds. They are 19H1 builds.

Okay I think what he was getting at was anything above 1809 is unofficial, beta or whatever you want to call it. Expect bugs. These drivers work fine on 1809, the latest stable version of windows.

RS6 is 19H1, or 1903, "Spring 2019" or whatever Microsoft will eventually end up calling it officially. Different names, same deal.

They stopped using Redstone codename with v1903 builds. They're using codenames based on year and its half now. Since v1903 will out in first half of 2019, the codename is 19H1, which is a lot more simpler.

Superb set, I use DCS World on a daily basis and can clearly see an improvement with this driver, big thumbs up :)

Seen it in Rainbow Six Siege when selecting an operator, flickers like crazy then is fine ingame. Will try with these new drivers to see if the issue persists.

I don't have any flickering with the latest drivers. I play R6 Siege daily so i think i would have seen that if i had any issues.

Don't know what's wrong with my card or the latest drivers maybe, but the scores went down badly.

My GTX1080 ran the benchmark at a stable core between 2012mhz and 2025 and scores lower than a stock FE version. Anyone is willing to share his GTX1080 score ?

Install DCH version after running DDU and after reboot I'm not getting Control Panel. I redownloaded the driver and installed it over the installed one and still don't have Control Panel. Is this a thing w/ the DCH version?

The DCH version doesn't include the control panel. You can get it through the Microsoft Store instead.

Nothing else installed, only the driver package.

Its absolutely correct, but in some cases it automatically pulls it in through the Store already.

NVIDIA even has a support article up to instruct you to go to the store if its missing:

I don't see anything in the Microsoft Store except Intel Graphics Control Panel or Command. Dj, will it work to reinstall just the driver and leave everything else ?

I followed the link you provided nevcairiel and found it. Thanks again.

Hey mate! I just installed the original DCH package from the nvidia web site and unchecked things that i don't want doing a clean install after DUU in safe mode and everything is as it should be.
Maybe it pulled it somehow from the store automatically as @nevcairiel said, but i never felt/see that during or after installation.
