You are free to believe whatever you want, the UEFI Secure Boot will continue to be OS agnostic and require just a proper platform key plus proper kernel driver signature to the devices exposed during the boot. But most important: all this means nothing in my entire system set will prevent to boot a single machine with secure boot enabled on systems with devices without additional WHQL bullcrap. If you want read something that doesn't tell bullcrap, simply read the official UEFI documentation about 2.3.1 - errata C and not the confusing Microsoft documentation (which has turned into a pile of crap since they migrated into those git hosted doc platform). Microsoft required the additional WHQL to add the driver during OS installation? Who the fùck cares about? We can always add them after, that's the big change they did, nothing more nothing less and since the only drivers that really need to be signed are storage devices and storage controllers, that's not a problem at all unless you need a WHQL driver to hear the annoying pre-recorded Cortana telling to click "next" during the futile installation graphics. You know, you even do not need GPU WHQL drivers at all thanks tot he Microsoft Basic Render driver (which is just the release mode of the WARP device, aka software rendered with SSE2 acceleration).

The driver was not signed, if you disable secure boot you will get sound of some kind. Changing the output frequency and speaker configuration can improve situation but it will not cure it.

As far as I can tell, these drivers work fine. But then again, XFTI_PCDRV_L11_2_40_0016.exe also seemed to work for me, so what do I know? :D

Still no sign about XFI Titanium HD though..
Guess it doesn't need any work, or like Nvidia ceo Jensen likes to say " It just works" lol

At this point, there is still one more bug related to X-Fi sound cards that Microsoft needs to resolve before pushing the next feature update out.

The good news is that the latest Windows 10 Insider Build 18865 from the 20H1 branch indicates that a resolution is in sight. According to announcement for build 18865, Microsoft has been working with Creative to resolve the bug and new fixed drivers have been released for some X-Fi models.
Once the X-Fi issue is resolved, we should expect the Windows 10 April 2019 Update to be released.

Microsoft are not waiting on Creative fixing it, the update will release with or without them.

basically the only x-fi card that have not ended support at the last 2 years is the PCI Express X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion Series.
That is the reason that they created new driver targeting this card and automatically this driver support also
    • Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional Series
    • Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Professional Audio
    • Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium
    • Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium OEM
All the other cards are archived products.
I dont think that they gonna release something new. Time will tell.

Creative better hurry with the Titanium HD driver, because Windows 10 1903 COMPLETE breaks current drivers. Only SPDIF out is visible and non working.
