It's quite similar to the Acer 49" monitor, and similar to the Samsung 49" monitor I'm using now, great for slower FPS games like Doom, Metro series, Battlefield series, etc. I find it overwhelming for very fast paced FPS like UT3, just too much happening, it was ..... unsettling for me.

Is that curvature really 1800? Looks somewhat more agressive.

I think it's just the pics, mine's also 1800R curvature and it doesn't strike me as being particularly aggressive.

Disgusting monitors. Very low PPI/DPI.

I do not want to see the pixels. No no no!

Only 81 PPI... Okay for gaming, I guess, but not for productivity work.

It could have been an alternative for sim-racers, but I don't think the asking price is justified.

Main reason for me getting it was that racing games would look pretty good with the 32:9 aspect ratio. Even bought a Logitech G29 steering wheel and pedals to go with it, definitely way more fun than using the KB, used my spare Samsung soundbar to complete the ensemble....below is a pic of my 49" monitor setup, running Strange Brigade benchmark.

    just my 2 cents...
Who would pay this much for half a screen...? (that is how i look at this type of monitor)

why not buy a 16:9 4k TV with the same horizontal width measurement (result = same amount horizontal pixels, double the amount of vertical pixels)
samsungs NU8000 as an example (it can also run at 1440p@120fps AND 1080P@120FPS AND 2160p@60fps if needed due to firmware updates but remember only for the 55 inch and bigger sizes)

(you could always force a 32:9 resolution if really needed on most of the 4k tv's. doing this will result in 2 black borders above and below the picture)

I myself am currently using a rather cheap 60hz 4k 43" TV on my main rig so i cannot understand the need for thes 32:9 monitors personally...
i'm contemplating on buying a samsung 55 inch NU8000 myself in the very near future...
for reference a UE55NU8000 costs about 765 euro in belgium

Fun fact - if it breaks you can use it like a snowplow! A win/win monitor.
