22nd i think we can expect g3d review. One boring card it seems. Rx580 will have a competitor 2 years later with again less vram.

Well we live in a Matrix my friend. If you analyze the scheme "1660", sixteen means the year of proper performance. Lol. It is good enough if it was released at 2016. But in 2019. I doubt it.

They upped the shader count from 1280 to 1408 to actually differentiate from 1060. So, 10-15% faster i think. Even the less impressive is upcoming 4gb 1650 that will compete with 570.

Yeah, the only thing could make those nvidia lower mid range gpus viable is the price and performance ratio to hit amd's game bundle and already low prices. By seeing 1660ti pricing, I doubt it. They are thinking out of this world.

If only 1650 is faster than 570 and cheaper than 580, or 1660 is faster than 580 and cheaper than 590, we can talk about excusing nvidia for releasing those gpus. Like that they could sell like hot cakes. But I really doubt it.

Based on the 1660Ti, I am guessing the 1660 will be 10-15% faster than a 1060 for around $220, and the 1650 to be around 10-15% faster than a 1050Ti for around $170. They'll be JUST fast enough to make them slightly more appealing than the AMD competitors. Which is really all they need to do - it's not like AMD is chasing them with a blazing fast new competitor anytime this year if Navi rumors are anything to go by.

Basically the 1660Ti was designed for 1440p gaming, the 1660 will be for high framerate 1080p, and the 1650 will be for 60fps 1080p. They don't need to compete, they just need to fill the niches that gamers want.

This 3-slot design by EVGA is so stupid. Why not make it like the GTX 560Ti, with a larger heatsink, but only 2-slot? These cards are not that hot.

The RX570 is a staggering 43% faster in games than the GTX1050ti.

So the GTX1650 has to be WAYYYY more than 10-15% faster than the GTX1050ti for it to be appealing.

The gigabyte 1660 has an 8 pin PCI-e power supply, I thought 6 would suffice
