Cinebench R20 Benchmark - Post you scores here

+300pts on win 7 by changing priority to "above normal"

 

Aorus Master z390 + i9900K all turbo al 4.7 Ghz, no change in priority (so below normal): 4914
If I change to "above normal" the score goes to 4979 - not so much an improvement...

 

I did run cinebench few times and here are best scores i received:

Is there a bug in cpu-z??? From your SS it seems that you ran the 9900k overclocked at 5 Ghz with "only" 0.928 Core Voltage??? If this is possible how did you achieve this???

Yep, I agree, I think that's a good way to run it, and I do something very similar. I use an Offset overclock, but I don't use SpeedShift to get the power savings during idle & light use, instead I have C-states enabled (not on the package, just the cores), and combined with the Windows High Performance Power Plan (which locks CPU frequency to max). I proved to myself using PCMark testing that this was the highest performing of all the power saving options, it performed better than Speed Shift while also saving more power at idle - it also performed as well as a completely locked & static voltage/frequency. Here's my 8700k at stock, for reference. I'm pleased to see it being on par with the 1700x. When I bought it, the 1700x and 1800x would cost more than the 8700K, and the 1700 was on par with it. The single core score was 3 points lower than a 7700K, mildly disappointing. I wonder if some task executed in the background or something, or it's just the many small background processes from Windows, GFE etc.

 

I got a score of 5263 cb with my 9900k @ 5.0Ghz and memory @ 4133Mhz set to high priority.

It's not the slowest cpu on the list!, thats a win in my book

 

Well since i have posted the slowest Dual core score now on the opposite side of the spectrum i will post the score of the fastest 36 thread monster 9980x @ 4.8Ghz , i will leave this little score here:

 

4% difference between yours & the other guys, might be partly due to the slower RAM you've got.

 

Nice, a good high refresh rate gaming CPU with your overclock and RAM for sure!
