this doesn't show up for me :/ no idea why

 

rumor about this driver being a test driver that fixes issues with the latest windows patch which is causing performance issues according to reddit.

seems to be alot of problems with that patch

microsoft does seem to be working with people on the matter.

 

anyone know where else to get the driver? im on 1903 - 19h1 and nothing shows up in windows update, or device manager

Installed fine on my 1080gtx (Windows 10 build 18845).

 

Could you enable Developer Mode in Settings / Updates & Security / For Developers and run D3D12FeatureChecker from here? I wonder if there are any notable changes reported in a new WDDM and a new driver branch.

 

i have played with this driver RE2 on my 4k hdr tv (gtx970) and compared to my previous driver (419.17) i have a bit of flicker.

screen is getting black for 2 sec, it is a bit hot on this kind of game! ^^

and yeah it is WDDM2.6 (win 10 pro 18342 slow ring)

 

Even after subscription i can't dl D3D12FFeatureChecker ... it says i do not have permission

I think you've launched CMD which doesn't check for experimental features but at least SM 6.4 seems to be enabled by default now. Well, a lot can still change between now and release.

 

i have launched D3D12CheckFeatureSupport for the .png

when i use checkfeatures_experimental it doesnt do anything

i go to 419.35, i will see if windows force me to update to 421.65...

 

And.... i'm back to WDDM 2.5

 

It is not, it is intended for 19h1 and only 19h1.

 

I'm on Skip ahaed, so 20h1, and got the driver to.

So not only 19h1 only but 19h1 an future

 

And still Windows Update delivered it to PCs in Release Preview ring which is still on 1809 (17763.348)

 

A mistake on Microsofts servicing configuration, nothing more.

both need the driver to expose their capabilities.

1809 doesn't.

 

I was on 1903 - 19h1 (18351.1) and the driver didnt show up for me either, and it wouldnt install from the link that was posted in this thread either. Windows insider program said that "skip ahead" is closed so i couldnt get 20h1 yet.
Then i fallowed the steps on https://pureinfotech.com/download-windows-10-insider-builds-skip-ahead-closed/ and now im getting 20h1 installed atm (18850.1000) Im not sure if 421.65 will work for me now tho.

I got a 2080ti and on 1903 - 19h (18351.1) the 421.65 driver just said that it "was not installed" in the nvidia installer.

 

I'm on 1809 and installed it manually. Runs smooth, feels responsitive. I'll keep it.

 

For me it doesnt install at all. Not on 18351.1 or 18850.1000. It says "installed failed" in the nvidia installer. I unpacked it and ran setup.exe, or is there another way to install it so it works ?
