Game in question is The Division, due to stopping playing and uninstalling then adding a new SSD it's moved around a bit on my computer and now I noticed that it's ignoring the gaming profile, I tried setting it to 55fps for example and ingame it goes to 60 and the AA settings aren't "sticking" etc. etc. I tried deleting the profile then doing a scan, tried deleting the profile and adding manually by pointing to the exe but neither seem to be working? Thanks in advance!
Try switching to borderlands windowed, then search back to full-screen. FPS limiter and some other featured work only exclusive full-screen mode.
Yeah that's been switched back and forth as I was curious if either gave better FPS, I think I'll just do a complete driver uninstall/reinstall, seems the best bet
just because you've set an option doesn't mean that option will be compatible with the game. if you want to cap the fps, use rtss.
It's not just FPS capping that isn't working, it's AA, AF etc. etc. I added a second card yesterday and crossfire isn't working either for the games I've tried so far.
That could be it I guess, I've been testing crossfire last couple of days and that's definitely triggering from the gaming profile (or not when I set it to disabled in the Crossfire option of the gaming profile).
Normally I don't (wasn't actually aware it was possible!) but have since I've been trying to resolve this yes.
