This is GeForce HotFix driver version 418.99 that addresses the following:

• Windows 7x64/8.1x64: Fixes random application crash or TDR introduced in previous GeForce display driver 418.81.

Of course, they don't as those are for win 7/8.

 

with a modded Inf you can install, that driver on windows 10. There is even a new NGX Version. Strange because that is RTX relatet and only works on Windows 10

 

That's actually a great point. I did notice that when I was cleaning the driver.

Any chance for an RTX user to mod the inf and check if it fixes the issue on Win 10? As there is also a high probability that even if it will work, it will not "fix" the actual issue as fix was created to work on win 7/10 subsystem in specific.

 

be awesome if someone can do a fc5 compare between the 418.99 driver and the 418.91 driver.. PLEASE!! im not home otherwise id be happy too

 

Only for windows 7 not for 10 this crash appears allot of time in metro exodus under dx12.
Btw my malbwarebytes blocks a trojan when i click on this thread with link.
