I installed using the normal installer. GFE wasn't in the list. Anyway, testing the drivers a bit and no, no signs of GFE running / installed on my system.

 

Well, after the CPU usage being normal for a few reboots then a bugcheck resume from sleep...it's now back to a constant ~11% Nvidia Container LS. It does not do this with the .81 driver so...back to that one.

 

You are not fooling anybody here. This isn't even remotely accurate. It's not even the same scene of the game. DLSS does not have a text bug. This kind of falsified information kinda discraces the term Guru.

 

Personaly I did not noticed that but cleaned uses less resources so better imho

 

@ Manuel G any info about the crashings and hard lock ups in metro exodus under dx12 and latest Nvidia drivers ?

 

Koniakki comparison seems legit to me, judging from the two screenshots. Why do you say that it is not accurate ?

 

Since I'm on GTX 960 and I not play the 2 games for what it's optimized, I don't see any reason to update.

Yeah, keep lying to yourself. I've run each and every testing cycle through to release and there are always problems and always will be with a release program that can't bake itself in.

Call me when they go back to intelligent 2 yearly cycles.

I've run these update settings on Windows 10 Pro since 1607. A year later it gave me 1709. And I expect that when a new LTSC comes out this year I'll get that. Seems to be working fine actually.

Is it really the topic to start debating 7 vs 10 ? If you don't use 10 that's fine, it's entirely your choice. Why bother posting in this particular topic about a driver ?

Problem is you jump from a working build to one with memory pressure stuttering, a worsening setup "Settings" interface and your driver support is still going to be at the mercy of the 6 monthly updates.
