RTX 2070 Windforce

    Hi,

    Yesterday i received my new GPU. Everything installed and plugged.

    I tried to play some games.. but the game freeze after 15mins.. just the screen freeze but i still can hear the discord and speak. However, second before the freeze i hear like windows notification sound..

    Also the card making some weird sound.. i have video captured which i can upload here.

    The first part might be a driver crash.

    The sound thing depends a lot of what the sound is. It might go from irrelevant to very alarming, but without knowing what it is we can't be sure.

    What PSU are you using? Lack of power can cause a hard crash too.

    That should be power to spare.

    That leaves you with the problem of what is that noise you hear, if it's something like coil whine from a FPS spike when crashing (not worrying) or something else.

    An easy test would be upgrading drivers (there's new drivers today 13th Feb) and see if the crash is driver related.

    I don't know if this would be the same issue, but I had a problem with my 2080Ti that was basically the same as yours which was solved by using 2 different PCI-E psu cables instead of one + splitter.

    seperate psu cables and a bios update on the card should sort this, theres one available, i have the same card in a seperate rig.
