I read g-sync is supported over HDMI but only if the device supports 2.1.

Which is to be expected as HDMI <2.1 doesn't have any VRR in its specs. AMD making FS work over HDMI is essentially going out of HDMI specification. We'll see I guess, maybe NV will follow suit.

    Hey guys!

I have a FreeSync monitor but can't see anywhere to enable Gsync? Can anyone help me?

I have GTX 1060 and IIYAMA ProLite XB3270QS-B1 monitor. Do I need to install GFE and Audio drivers since I never install those.

    Thank you for your help!

LG 38" ultrawide XR382CQK works great. It's super smooth.
However, freesync is not selectable when HDR on monitor is enabled. Am I supposed to be allowed to choose either one of these 2 feature and they cannot be enabled together? It's freesync 1 monitor if that matters.

Does it work on Kepler and Maxwell series?

I don't see anything about adaptive sync in specs here: https://iiyama.com/gb_en/products/prolite-xb3270qs-b1/

    Pascal and Turing only.

That feeling when your verified monitor is worse than the non verified monitors on this topic. Feels bad.

Again, no adaptive sync support on this display according to the specs: https://www.benq.ee/product/monitor/xl2411z/specifications/

It's also highly unlikely that Gsync will work over anything but DisplayPort for now.

I guess it's finally time to upgrade and buy a freesync monitor. My current monitor is a Dell U2715H.

I'll be camping on this thread to make sure that I buy the right one.

    I'm looking for a reasonably-priced 27" to 32" IPS 1440p freesync monitor.

I look forward to testing my old AOC G2460PF (24" TN 1920x1080@144Hz) some time this week. One of the cheapest displays when it launched 3 years ago and my first VRR screen. Around 190-200 Euros back in Black Friday 2018 was quite nice, despite it being TN. Since then I've moved over to both a Acer XB271HU as well as an X34A.
