Radeon Vega 8 and 11 Processor Graphics

    By comparing specifications of the Radeon Vega 8 and 11 Processor Graphics, I see that Vega 11 is a little faster than Vega 8, but I see no other differences. Does anyone know if there are any?

    15~25% higher performance on Vega 11 (2400G).
    Higher texture details => Lower differences due to memory bandwidth limitation.
    Higher shader details => Higher differences due to more CUs.
    Higher AF levels => higher differences.

    Side note: Both must be paired with dual channel memory, otherwise you are losing good 40% of graphical performance in CPU lighter games. And in CPU heavy, stutter would be present too.

    And if you meant actual differences in chip construction blocks. As names hint:
    Vega 8 => 8CUs => 512SP => 32TMUs
    Vega 11 => 11CUs => 704SP => 44TMUs

    Yes their is a major difference in the performance between both Ryzen 5 2400g Integrated graphics will performs almost 25% better than Ryzen 3 2200g

    I expect that the differences will show more if the DDR is of high quality allowing at least 3200 speed and, possibly most importantly, CL14 timings. If budget does not allow for such expensive RAM, then 2200G may be the smart choice.

    There are quite some differences. Even fact that 2200G is 4C/4T and 2400G is 4C/8T makes quite some difference.
    I did build 2200G and 2400G systems, and had opportunity to do tests. One does not and should not go crazy on memory timing and clock with 2400G because it is not cost efficient and one builds such system because it can be cost efficient.
    3200MHz CL16 is just fine. There are gains, but that depends on large number of additional factors. Like TDP settings and cooling solution. Getting maximum out of chip like that is so costly that one can just go for 2600(X) and dedicated GPU.

    I remember that one member here did put it under liquid cooling and OCed it to max and all that stuff... But sum of price tags on those things used is higher than building basic 2600X + RX-580 system which performs like 4 times better in games.
