Looks quite good. I haven't played the first one, but i could certainly give this a go. Some very cool games coming this year.

Wish it had single player campaign. So sad

TBH, The Division was always a "live service" from Ubisoft, so this is no surprise. It's a lighter MMO.

7900X huh? How does moving to 4K suddenly require 10 cores vs only needing 4 for 1440p?

Its "Campaign" wasn't exactly single player. You always played in the online world. That might be where the confusion is from. Although the actual instanced missions where of course limited to the team you signed up with.

It was exactly single player up until level 30 unless you decided you wanted to share time with other people, sure you'd see people in safe houses but that's it you could play it SP until endgame and have a great time doing it (as I did twice and now playing through from 0-30 a third time with just me and Mrs. Grimbarian) :)

What @Grimbarian said :) I played with friends for the first three levels but then life got in the way for everyone and we started playing at different paces so I completed most of the game solo. I'll never forget many of those moments while playing the campaign which were absolutely amazing. What an awesome game! Sure, end game wasn't great but the 50 hours I spent playing SP were fantastic.

But if we talk terminology then yes, the campaign is co-op enabled at all times which technically makes it multiplayer.

I sure hope so otherwise I'll be a sad pupper :)

Yeah its been confirmed a few times 2 has a campaign just like 1 and the endgame content comes after you complete the story. Touched on in this recent video: amongst others.

    It's bs xD

I played closed Alpha just fine on a 4770k @4.6Ghz, no cpu bottleneck or high per core utliziation. Looked the same as by the division 1.

The Division 1 was definitely more GPU hungry than CPU hungry, that's for sure :)

Dat optimize, am I rite? :D

I think the 8GB Vram on 2080 will be limiting factor in future vs VEGA7 and even 1080TI !, many 2080 Users gonna be very angry in near future.

Think they're just trying to make it more sound like a beefy rig rather then needing those 10 cores.

Well the game, specifically closed alpha ran fine on 6gb, but it's a GPU hog.. I hovered around 40-50fps at best @ 1080p somewhat max settings. It looked a bit weak to me, even at max settings.. dunno but I dare to say division 1 surrounding was more pristine and looked better.

The only good thing by 2 was foliage and even that wasn't thaaat great.

Because cpu dependency goes up with resolution

Of course it does, around 40 hours long.
