Now the big question how does it perform while playing videogames ? and how high is going to be the temperatures of these new AMD 8 core ryzen 3000 cpu,s ?

A little sketchy on the details. I have to say, I'm a little underwhelmed.

If they run with less power than the i9 they will be cooler than that but i hope allot less . Curious to see the final TDP figure though

Seems like Zen 2 is still far away, probably 2nd half of 2019 for launch

And this will be upper-mid range Ryzen 3000 given it just has one Zen2 chiplet as opposed to two Zen2 chiplets predicted for the high end Ryzen 3000 CPUs.

One thing we can take away from this, it confirms the chiplet configurations that have been speculated on the leaks.

    Launch Mid 2019 apparently.

The way I saw that chip layout 16c/32t is almost a certainty.

Lisa said middle of the year, so June or July. Somewhat disappointing. Was expecting March/April.

Can we forever ban AdoredTV rumors off this forum now?

Ryzen 3000 is coming mid-year just so you can have Radeon VII in February

So you're saying they delayed a product that people actually want for a 2 year late 1080Ti? lol

that's a funny way of looking at it, and from a certain perspective you're not wrong.
i should've been more precise, because of the Radeon Pro and Radeon VII being churned out by the fab atm, Ryzen 3000 is a later production.

you are quite wrong about the demand though - AMD is just fine with Ryzen 2000 for now as they're dominating the market (true according to proprietary data) for desktop cpus.
the demand for Radeon Pro gpus however, is through the roof and are far more profitable...even though everything AMD is fabbing is highly profitable, Radeon Pro more so. the "big data" and "content creator" market are far larger than desktop cpus when it comes to profitability. they will make 3-5x the profit (percentage) off of one Radeon Pro that they do off of one Ryzen 2700x.

btw...Radeon VII really outperforms a 1080ti. i have a 1080ti and i never got the frame rates that i did with Radeon VII on the same games (battlefield V, AOTS, AC)
and with the exact same cpu (2700x).

I read the Ryzen did almost 2500 at 130 Watt and the 9900K 2000 at 180 Watt.

    (in Cinebench that is)

2057 vs. 2042 in favor of Ryzen so not quite that big a bump. :)

The power numbers are impressive though (total system power).

No, it was 2057 for Ryzen 3000 and 2042 for Core i9 9900K.

I was actually expecting something weaker from amd so I am pleasantly surprised. But the 3000 series seems like a gem.

not very impressive for me at this point

it will depend on price of the cpu and motherboards, temperatures etc
