A huge leak has been spotted on a Russian etailer posting the incoming and imminent release of the Ryzen 3000 series 7nm CPUs Matisse Zen 2 Architecture.

Ryzen 9 3800x 16 cores 32 threads @ 4.7Ghz Boost - New Flagship , more cores , big bump in speed.

Ryzen 7 3700x 12 cores 24 threads @ 5.0Ghz Boost - Replace the 2700x , more cores , huge bump in speed.

Hope not , that 32 thread 3800x overclocked to 5.1Ghz on H2O will be the shizzz ... Bring it on AMD i'm ready and so is my AM4 Asus Crosshair VII x470 mobo ! ( No need for new chipset as it is AM4 backwards compatible x370 , B350 , x470 , B450. I hope Intel gets the memo of the new cpu new chipset needed game they Intel have been playing and milking us customers , Intel should learn from AMD a thing or two )

Personally I would've loved a perfected 8 core with the most clocks they could do (no inactive dies and other crap, for example), but at least they dare have a 12-core with a higher clock then the flagship CPU, so thats at least something to look at.
If these are true, of course.

 

Man, I can't wait for official announcement. And I hope that it is real. 3700X for me all the way. I freakingly need those extra cores. And clock bump+IPC does not hurt either.

 

I imagine they will announce at CES no? I haven't been following the rumors.

I'll believe it when I see it - not getting my hopes up just yet.

I don't like how they're following Intel's lead with Ryzen 9. Well, as long as they don't ship it in a dodecahedron box.

I'm feeling a little sheepish with my 16-core 180W processor. Can't have it being superseded by a mere desktop part but don't have the money for a 32-core. Not that I'm against progress or anything.

 

I told myself i would likely not upgrade CPUs until Zen2 2nd gen (4000 series?) or possibly Zen3, you know, another 1-2 years from now....

But if that Ryzen 7 3700x turns out to be true......hmmmmm......

 

So we can download and use them, right?

That 3700x or 3600x looks very delicious.

If 3700x price is right I just might go for that, although 8cores on 3600x would be more then enough for me

Now if only Navi rumors are true as well.

 

I'm honestly more suspicious now than I were after the AdoredTV video, since these are identical to those and with no new information as far as I can tell. Though we'll know in a week or so regardless I suppose.

As for Navi IMO those rumors (assuming we're talking about the ones in the same AdoredTV leak - since Navi has been rumored to be just about everything at this point) were always more realistic, since they weren't a huge step up from what's already out there (~15% better performance than a GTX 1080 at ~15% reduced power usage, on a significantly improved process).

 

Wonder what the 6 core/12t cpu will be. Im just gonna stay with 12 threads still for gaming. Most games I run 3.6 OC on my R5 1600, but BF1 I run 4.0 OC. I guess the 3500x will be the 6 core/12t cpu with the new naming scheme. If it does 4.5ghz Im gonna be tickled to death.
