I'm still getting this strange Windows desktop flicker when G-Sync is enabled, doesn't happen in game, just when using Windows.
    Disable G-Sync and it's fine.

I'ts been happening through all the 4xx drivers, 399.xx are fine.

For last 3 drivers, getting Gsync stutter in some Windows again on the desktop.

Whatever Nvidia did before to fix it, they broke it again with "RTX" drivers.

Good driver for BF5, without the patch, more stable fps. Also for FC 5 lesser frametime spikes and no driver performance gimp on Pascal. I getting beter fps in FC5 120, 106, 95 fps. Same or better as before Turing.

no, it doesn't fix anything ddu, I even formatted the entire pc, downgrade to win 1803, nothing works
411.xx last driver without this annoying bug for me, 416.xx started the screen corruption, now with 417.22 the monitor won't wake up at all... you can't see the screen corruption anymore, so technically it's "fixed" XD

    Only alternatives:
    - disable monitor sleep and use a screensaver
    - stick with 399.24 (or try 411.xx) and avoid playing latest games

Recent drivers are rising my frustration levels way too much :(

Thank god for this forum, just got my monitor replaced yesterday. I thought there was something wrong with it.

Went back to previous hotfix drivers and can confirm these drivers are messed up on hitman 2.
Nice. Did he mention if it's going to be a hotfix or whql?

Most likely WHQL. Recently the hot-fix is also WHQL.

Geez idk why they even bother with whql's lately. Seriously.

There was a better quality control in 300 series drivers , but now there is a new beta driver every time they release a whql.

It's Turing man. Those Tensor cores driving up power needs for nothing. It's indicative in all drivers that started supporting them.

Up to Pascal was about consuming less power, then out of the blue, power needs go back up.These are the times when Nv's UDA really gets me cranky.

Unless we're really needing a driver for a specific game or gpu support if your running latest gen, go back to a branch that works stable for your rig and use the latest only for testing purposes would be my best advice atm.

Guys, is it my imagination or something? Since drivers 417.xx something in font clarity has been improved. It's like I see and mostly read everything much clearer...

Anyway; I'm sure it's difficult to get an accurate answer unless you write the drivers for Windows 10.

funny thing...creator's update disabled my ability to play Civ. Beyond Earth... previous update restored ability (not game driver fix...) and current update runs AoTS a good 2-3% better.
and i had thought that was all game driver optimization (which still probably occurred), but as the game couldn't even load and Steam "freaked out" (BSOD) it wasn't.
the "creator's update" caused more problems for me with a native Win10 system than various and sundry Win7 (except for revisions) updates.
i'm glad MS put that behind them for now... and afraid they'll do it again.

Yeah, I've also noticed that my RAM is bigger now with these new drivers. I wonder if I'll be able to download some CPU cores as well?..

so many run time errors with these drivers that cause games to crash. Reverting back to the older one, these are terrible
