This looks like a mod that should have been released in 2007. It looks...very cheaply put together. (not black mesa that everyone else keeps talking about in this thread)
I would prefer Valve just sold the Halflife name on so another studio could make a completely new game on a new engine with Todays standards.
While i am generally always for the "Hey something new won't ever be bad as it will never destroy the original"....i can't for the life of me think how a different company would even be capable of creating another half-life game. You can pretty much 100% guarantee it would be half-life in name only, similar to how FarCry 1 vs any of the other far crys have nothing to do with eachother and are only farcry in name only. I don't see the benefit in that.
