So how does it compare to 399.24?

 

Also wondering about this. I've been on 399.24 since the day they came out and things have been pretty good, but my UWP games have started stuttering in the last day or so.

I'm thinking now might be a good time to try the 400 series but I'm not sure if I can even use them. Is the 1809 requirement for all the RTX/DXR stuff or for the 400 drivers? I'm still on 1709 and will be for as long as possible.

 

Driver installed fine here also. No hiccups. Going to do some gaming in FFXV and Destiny 2 (yes I like the game!).

 

Same here , also like Destiny 2 and Shadow Warrior 2 as well ,especially like free

 

QC work fine and smooth with these, no crashes.

 

Driver is working well so far. Finally don't need to use quadro drivers.

 

Drivers are working great for my 1070 so far!

I have read that this issue only affects the GK110 GPUs: 780, 780 Ti, Titan, Titan Black and Titan Z.

 

Looks like they're nerfing 7 series cards again. Thankfully they have mercy on the gtx 760 users like me that can't afford anymore framerate loss

 

For the record, those drivers gave me microstutters (every 10 sec or so) in Assetto Corsa with a gtx 1080

May be because has been introduced this fix?

 

Batman Arkham Origins on a RTX 2080 GPU is missing PhysX High setting with this driver, hotfix show high settings.

 

Nothing exciting with respect to benchmarks; they're ~ the same as older drivers. However, this is the best battlefield 1 driver I've ever used.

 

The high physx setting is supposed to only be visible with a dedicated physx card.

No clue, will stick with the hotfix for the time being.

 

Same here, Witcher 3 no longer crashes with DSR.

Noticed the same, but it won't actually replace the newer version, installation log will say "not installed because newer present" or such.

If you overinstall or remove old version with DDU (doesn't seem to remove NGX components).

 

Try toggling the PhysX setting from the GPU back to Auto in the Nvidia Control Panel.

Nah, you just need a capable Nvidia GPU, otherwise the effects are reduced and run on the CPU.

 

Ah, AK's a bit different to AA/AC then.

 

I have all 3 and no you dont need a dedicated extra GPU for it lol.

Well the crash seems to be 980ti specific.. so...
