I have an XPS 15 laptop with a 1050 TI. I selected my card in Nvidia's search and it linked me to version 416.34 but won't install.

So is this not the right driver?

Does your laptop happen to have a fully fledged desktop version of the 1050 Ti? Maybe try downloading the drivers for a standard desktop version and see if that works or not. You may also be able to lookup your exact laptop model and get more tailored drivers from Dell's website.

Dell XPS laptops require the DCH driver, to install it you have to install GFE.

No it's a laptop. Max Q version at that. Dell website only has an older driver 396.xx I think and am having some game troubles so hoping a newer driver would fix it.

OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
    Version 10.0.17134 Build 17134
