    Same!
    Windows 10 1809 (updated from 1803)
Asus Strix GTX 1080 Ti OC
    DELL S2417DG

Sometimes, at the bottom of the screen, I see a white glow that lasts a fraction of a second.

I thought was a problem with my DisplayPort cable or monitor itself. I wanna try with a clean install (1809 ISO)

Nowhere, as I don't archive old driver versions.

Read the first post, there is an in-depth guide on how to clean a driver by yourself with multiple options. You can apply it to any driver version, including 399.24.

Another repost of that discredited nerfing video, seems the post was deleted but mine wasn't, so now its all out of whack.

Ah I see! Don't buy it either, there are some minor fluctuations, but nothing too significant and out of ordinary.

This is GeForce HotFix driver version 416.64 that addresses the following:

    • Far Cry 5: Flicker during gameplay
    • Monster Hunter World: Corruption is seen when Volume Rendering Quality is set to highest
    • The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt: Flicker during gameplay
    • Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Improves game stability
    • When audio playback is paused, audio receiver switches from multi-channel to stereo. Increased period from 5 seconds to 10 seconds.

Since it fixes a lot of flickering in games I hope this fixes the flickering I have in Final Fantasy XV! Thanks for posting this.

I had to laugh at "you can't stay on win 7 forever, unless you want to be left behind."

So dramatic! This is how consumerism has changed people to think if they don't buy the latest stuff all the time, that there is going to be some dire consequence, so you can never be content with what you have and you'll keep spending money on stuff you don't need.

cryohellinc, bad news, nvidia stuffed up again.

The packages have been reuploaded with the wrong names.

The DCH package is what should be the standard package, so if you made your Clean build off the Standard link in the last 12 hours you might have a busted release

How i know this is that the 'new' standard upload is 1.2MB's smaller than the original, includes the NVPCF folder and is lacking several exe's and infs that are also missing from previous DCH releases.

This is the file that should be the standard package. https://international.download.nvid...ook-win10-64bit-international-dch-whql.hf.exe

You took the context wrong. Its a matter of fact if he wants current gaming and dx12 onwards, staying on 7 is gonna leave him behind. I'm far from a consumerist.
