But what abnormal is going to buy a cpu of 650 euros to play a games only? If you need to work on editing videos or photos is to buy the 2700X and motherboard for about 500 euros and still have a few euros. And at the end of the day it gives to play equally.

 

Who is buying a 60 000k $ car, when you can buy a 20 00k $ car? It does the same job, in the end of the day... Drive from A to B...

In France , we can find 9900k@559€
but the 9700k@549€.

Obviously an error on the price on one of the two processor !
(I'd prefer the error on 9700k but honestly I m afraid the 9900k@559€ is not the good price )

 

But here the possible difference would be 2 or 3 fps. And pay so much money and then play 720P or 1080 at low resolution to see these 2 or 3fps ... Regarding the car will have many more differences of certainty.

 

You'll see a lot more than 2-3fps at those resolution, stop making things up.

 

What if you have to use a 7700K or a 8700K @ 5.0Ghz? What's the difference? Do not blame me but there are not so many games that make use of so many cores, so the cost of 650 € is lost if you get something equal for 300 euros and if it is to produce a TR. If for fps it is better to invest in a 2080 Ti or a used 1080ti.

There are so many better choices for cpus available right now. I doubt there will ever be a great supply of this cpus.
We are just feeding the monster buying these, especially at the $$.

I was on about the 2-3fps difference at 720p or 1080p.

 

Now available for preorder in Sweden: i9-9900K 6299kr (600€). i7-9700K 4999kr (480€). i5-9600K 3449kr (335€).

I was expecting them to be much cheaper, but no... looks like I'm going to have to pass this generation as well.
