A couple of photos leaked onto the web, showing some really awkward memory modules, I say awkward as these double capacity DIMMs are memory DIMM modules that are twice as high as they stack two rows o... Leaked photos show double capacity DDR4 modules
Interesting tech wise. Just wait until they remember that there's a "shortage" of memory chips and that availability won't be "good" so they have to charge a premium price for this.

Is this like when they make those 256Gb kits.. RDIMM (registered) I think it is called?.. (Somebody school me! :-D ) I would like 64GB in my ITX setup, So I am all for it, as long as it does not come with a performance penelty.
lolz...after years of working for low profile ram that doesn't screw the air coolers, we finally have arrived at the point that they realize that aio and loops are where the enthusiasts are at. hey you in the back with the Noctuas - pipe down, we still love ya
Well, besides the fact that Samsung already announced a single 32GB dimm module for desktops and laptops, this DC DDR4 module looks like a proprietary form ASUS came up with. I quote from another site's article(Tom's): "The DC DIMM standard is Asus' own creation for allowing motherboards with limited amounts of memory slots to maximize their memory capacity".
