Well, that does look .. special? TP-Link will be releasing a new gaming router, the Archer AX1000. This bad boy has tri-band WIFI, but also is 802.11ax compatible. With Tri-band they combine one 2.... TP-Link Archer AX1000 Gamer Router has tri-band and 802.11ax
A bit funny, and a little sad, how much processing power a wifi router has. I assume that's supposed to be Gbit/s?
Interesting if it supports WPA3, and having a tp-link router I'm not happy with their firmware support. no updates for almost a year and with a fairly new router(ac-2300).
lol it may look sturdy but I'm sure the whole thing is made of cheap flimsy plastic. I wouldn't be surprised if there's just a 1mm diameter wire inside each of those thick antennas; I'd be even less surprised if some of those antennas aren't even functional. So realistically if you fell on it, it'd probably crumble into pieces. But, it is funny to imagine the headlines of someone being killed with a router jammed in their gut: "Florida man dies as he falls on his router, ironically, because he was upset about the poor reception of the way-too-many antennas it has to offer"
