Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine: it's a bit short, but the atmosphere, ambiance and strong characters makes it worthwhile. Half-Life (1): definitely one of the scariest games out there (nothing comes close) also like the retro gameplay. System Shock 2: my first sci-fi game, tried playing it back in the day, but barley understood English... The Max Payne series: a lot of emotions and the 3rd game was surprisingly good (apart from it having been moved from New York to São Paulo, Brazil).
Well, right now I am replaying Blacklist, managed to get my hands on the 5th Freedom Edition PS3 version from amazon for just 24,99 Dusted off my PS3, and there you go! This game brings back so much memories.
I've had Alan Wake forever on Steam, but have never gotten around to playing it. I'll give it a shot after I'm done with my third play-through of Mad Max.
One game I've been playing a crap ton of again lately, and yeah it's a UWP title but I don't mind those so much, I like the Xbox integration. I can join parties with my friends then rag on them for beating them. Gears of War 4.
RX480, never had any crashes in game. Horde I don't play too much, mostly Dodgeball and King of the Hill.
Games with great graphics like: Deus Ex Mankind Divided Witcher 3 Dishonored 2 Dishonored Outsider Crysis 3 X Rebirth Far Cry 5 (and 4) Watch Dogs 2 Black Desert Online Ghost Recon Wildlands Mass Effect Andromeda Destiny 2 Outlast 2 Kingdom Come Deliverance There are more I've left out and some games I've missed that I will try if I learn about them. And it's a bit embarrassing to admit I'm not much into gameplay and story but I can't help it that I play games like fully playable tech demos that emphasize mainly the visuals.
World of Warcraft for me. I have been playing it since The Burning Crusade days (start of 2007), so I have a lot of memories with it. One memory that keeps bringing me back is of my dad. My dad passed away in 2011, and these days, the only thing (beside few pictures of us) that reminds me of him is WoW. Whenever I play this game, it feels like he's still in the room next door going through his books and organizing his library in silence; it's really nice. This is probably more than the OP asked for, but yeah, for me it's World of Warcraft. Plus, it's a beautiful game
Nothing really, I find it hard to finish games even once before I lose interest. This wasn't a problem 10 years ago.
for me this is the best comment in this topic. maybe its because i have a strong relationship with my dad, and the fact that he always pushed me to do things i like to do. games are a major thing in my life so.. even in my early 30's so i know that feeling bro. anyway back to the topic - im replaying ME2 for the first time, 100% renegade. feels off after numerous runs as paragon. finished HL2 few days ago thanks to this topic. will play EP1 + 2 soon. also considering Heroes III again. will think about it. cheers
i really need my singleplayer game fix, but there isn 't much games in 2018, this year was disapointment so far...
I really like crysis 2 s take on newyork with how it is recreated, with every nick and crooney, but shame that this game is a walled in experience to me, shame that u cant wander around in the ruins of the city, the levels are so confined that u feel like u need to only go this way and no other way, camouflaged by the pretty artistic design and attention to detail given in the levels which i admire
