    Hi there guys,

Regarding the 'Gamma Correction' settin gin the Nvidia Control Panel, I've heard mixed things regarding whether or not to turn it off.

I read a guide online for the Nvidia Control Panel that recommended turning it off saying that most games handle it themselves so there's no use for it and in some cases it can make things look worse.

On the other hand, in the documentation for Nvidia Profile Inspector I saw a note saying that it's recommended to leave the setting on.

Given that, based on what I've read, there doesn't seem to be much if any performance impact for leaving it on, should I keep Gamma Correction ON or OFF?

Thanks for your time -- I appreciate it,

    - Stephen Enzor

    EDIT:

For some context, the DEFAULT setting in the Nvidia Control Panel seems to be ON.

It works only with CSAA/MSAA, personally, I keep it off globally.

Do not touch it. Leave it at the default. (If you changed it, click the restore default button.)

Yeah, I also heard that you'll burn your house and neighbor if you change it. Your wife will leave you too.
