This would be cool as a single color. Might have some ideas now...

paul's hardware took a look at a prototype:

i gotta say, i'm not big on RGB at all, almost against it. but i tell ya, i would pick one up and use it if it was in front of me.

I think it supports single color, so you'd be in luck.
But really, once you look at it up-close, the design is actually kind primitive. If you're feeling crafty, you could probably make something like this yourself (especially if you only care about 1 color). You could probably just get some LED EL glow wire and accomplish the same goal for real cheap. You can get around 15ft of it on ebay for around $10. There are various ways you could get the wire to cling to the power cords, such as clear fishing line, or get some clear tubing and cut a slit down the middle so it wraps over everything.

I know a lot of Youtubers got hold of a a prereleased version of it, but it was very annoying to get working...

I mean, another RGB thing :D

If you put in everything in RGB it can only be overkill. But as an accent, maybe just the waterblocks and power cables as well as the tubing (or only fittings for cooling without any premixed liquids)....

DAMN IT HAS GOT ME! HELP! :D

So what isn't RGB at this point?

    Motherboard - Check
    Ram - Check
    GPU - Check
    Fans - check
    Cases - check
    Cables - Check
    Sound card - Check
CPU - kinda check if you include CPU fans

guess we just need PSU and SSD/HDD now XD

You're outdated. RGB PSUs and SSDs already exist… sadly

This IS NOT an RGB 24 pin extension cable, that's misleading, this is an extension "COVER" and it's not even 24 cables but 12.

Oh god... then i cannot think of anything else, just need AMD and Intel to release RGB cpu chips with flashing lights around their PCB

Hope this RGB trend is kept to PC hardware. Imagine the horror of it spreading to common everyday things like fridges, toasters, watches, eye glasses, cars, clothing, underwear, etc.

The list above missed RGB mice and keyboards, just sayin. I have this silly hope one day vendors will actually put RGB to good use. It would be damn nifty to have say led backlit USB ports for those of us who have the PC under the desk. How about color coding back ports with leds? It would be cool to color code say the various speaker connections.

If everything becomes RGB wont it just be white light at that point? (Not a serious question)

Silly as it may sound, the RGB lights for the toilet is the only sensible RGB product I've seen. Its activated by motion detectors so you dont have to fumble for the lights at 3am when you go to pee.

What a noob. He did not even use pure white MB. That black MB just absorbed too much of RGB-ness.

Maybe you haven't noticed but every manufacturer uses varying shades of white.

It's very rare you'll find anything that's pure white.
