What do you mean, Destiny 2 is getting Forsaken DLC which is anticipated by destiny 2 players. Anthem seems like a complex game, way more complex then lost planet (1 was cool, 2 was mediocre) , and well warframe lol. Its pretty cool that you can interact with the world as well as co-op. giving it the impression the world is more alive. thats not anything like lost planet or warframe.
I see them supporting Anthem for a year max before stopping everything and transitioning to another title. I'm not even gonna bother with that title. Hyping unreleased games is what they do best!
well im gonna refrain bickering with you about destiny 2. you say destiny 2 players dont care, and i say they look forward to the dlc coming up. so there is that.
As probably the only remaining active SWBF2 player on G3D I'm totally loving the announcements for the game.
Well if things go right, the game could make a great comeback. to me the announcements looked very cool indeed.
My only real interest is in Bethesda's showcase. All the others... meh. I was hyped for Serious Sam 4, but Croteam said on their twitter that the game is only being showed to press behind closed doors. So, leaves me hoping for Devolver Digital to announce a new Flying Wild Hog game, or maybe some new news/footage of Witchfire. And of course, finally finding out what P7 from Remedy is.
Maybe anthem will pick up some of the destiny 2 people, after all the fery by activision and bungie around that disaster of a title. But biowares core fanbase are RPG nerds, do we really see them rushing out to buy a destiny clone? nm after me3 and andromeda? As for bethesda i hope we would finally get some details about starfield now that mass effect is dead and buried. Even beths mediocre RPGs might scratch that scifi RPG itch maybe, because there really isnt anything out there atm.
Maybe Anthem will be slightly better than Destiny 2... but that's not saying much. I honestly don't see Anthem lasting more than a single year before it starts going down the drain and people forgetting about it. I also have a strong gut feeling that Anthem will be the last 'true' effort from BioWare before EA decide to murder them. Give it about two or three years from now and we'll have a newly-named studio formed from Ex-BioWare employees scavenging on Steam Early Access with some $10 2D platformer. For Anthem to be fun and a great success, AND for BioWare to "come back" as a relevant developer in the gaming industry it will require some sort of a divine intervention.
EA Play 2018 Was One of The Worst Press Conferences of All Time: https://gamingbolt.com/ea-play-2018...ces-of-all-time/amp?__twitter_impression=true
I don't see Bethesda announcing Starfield or really any big RPG (Elder Scrolls) at this one. It would take attention away from the new Fallout. That's most likely going to be the 2018 release, and it'll have a big push.
so ANTHEM is online-only game shame , i had it on my pre-order list , now it's completely off the list
yea but with the supposed leaks of the last bethesda showcase that starfield would be part of that presentation, and the whole star screen they used for their whole presentation. It sure seemed like they intended to show it off before but got scrubbed. I would be curious to see where they going with that.
