Radeon Adrenalin Edition 18.4.1 Drivers Download & Discussion

All good here.

 

So far so good here too, still having that weird stuttering issue I've been reporting for over a year, but it's gotten much better, just some minor issues here and there.

Also in case anyone has missed it, on April 19th the Chipset drivers updated for the new board support and I'm sure there are some minor tweaks under the hood too.

It is Great, need to update the WinX

 

Just tossing this out to those WOW players...check your FPS you might be surprised.

 

Steam and SteamVR
- Moving side panels and windows.
- Black screens on launch.

AMD control panel
- Transparent and inaccessible during gameplay.
- Difficulties trying to activate Relive Live.

I learned from last time it's best to uininstall video card drivers before you update. Not sure what else you might need to uninstall.

 

Or use available in installer option of clean install or DDU but this one should be done only in critical situations, not as replacement of standard uninstaller.

 

Guys, ever since I updated to W10 RS4 I've been seeing this issue popping up on Action Center:



It also happened with drivers 18.3.4. Any ideas of what this is about and how to fix it?

Yes, AMD has only said we will look into this, nothing more. You can find this issue across the web with random users. I just keep reporting the issue until they want to see why some users are having this issue.

 

According to ComputerBase.de, this driver supports 4K Netflix acceleration with HDR

1803 + this drivers tested with dirt4+assettocorsa+farcry5 all seems working fine

 

I can confirm, Radeon overlay is just invisible.

 

Additional black screens and lag while watching YouTube videos.

 

no lags on my Vega64 when watching YT (HW acc. on). Opera newest developer and Vivaldi.

 

No YT Lags on Fury also -> on new Opera, FireFox 52.7.4 32bit & Edge/IE

Also this driver is best for FH3/FM7 and other DX12/VLK games.

Also no YouTube lags or blackscreens here on old R9 290 - Opera Dev, FF 59.0.3, Edge

@RzrTrek: Any specific steps to reproduce that issue?

 

This happens when I'm in VR and tab back to the desktop to quickly change the current video I got playing in the background on YouTube.
