"Driver Version" can be checked in "Graphics Card" section. And in this test 389.1 produced more draw calls.

    Could you also
Do you have any results of 388.84? I am wondering do "draw calls per frame" vary for Geforce 9xx and 10xx.

my results are different. I've seen lower draw calls on these drivers in comparison to 390.85 and 388.84. Still these perform the best in games.

Could you give some numbers and video card you've tested with? As written before I do wonder does video card matter for results.

I came from 388.76 and overall performance is pretty similar in 3DMark ,too, for me. But CPU/physics is higher and graphics score a bit lower.
Since the game I play most is CPU limited I keep this one until I run into a problem.

These drivers finally made Wolfenstein 2 working somewhat decent with my Kepler card. At last some love for them from Nvidia! :)

    Hi ms178,
I have the same card as you. And Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wild lands & Project CARS never been so smooth. Great drivers

Doom is bugged @ vulkan mode.

If I try to change from adaptive to vsync on it switches to 60HZ (DSR)
If I try to raise or lower DSR it also switches to 60HZ..
It can sometimes halt on quit, ok now with this 60HZ restart it did it 2x times out of 6 restarts.

    EDIT:

Its the same by openGL and with 388.84, but only by DSR change, when I changed vsync to adaptive it stayed at 144HZ..
So guess its just driver glitch? or game and DSR? Or DSR in general? I also noticed DSR cpu usage issue by COD BO3..

Well before I always used 60HZ monitor and never saw these issues.

I just noticed Doom downloaded a ~1,5GB update. Can't see any news other than the 4k patch for consoles though.

Yeah it's ridiculous. Should have been an optional update if it's that big.

For reason I cannot fathom my GTX 1080 has really low GPU usage since the update, resulting into massive framedrops and stuttering. This is not how are updates suppose to look like.

I do not have this issue, runs the exact same for me after update.

It's working just fine like the previous 389.10 driver.

So if I'm understanding you correctly, the shader intrinsics that Id Tech implemented for Doom and Wolfenstein 2 which increased performance on AMD hardware substantially, should now work for NVidia?
