or driver only suffice

its always in my mind if i install driver via task manager or win update so ffxv for exemple is fixed !? so the driver itself include specific games optimization or not

Anyone else experiencing grass flickering in FF XV with this driver? Haven't noticed that before, but after installing this driver, grass flickers from time to time.

 

This is built-in in the GPU drivers?

@mindaz3 According to DF, this flickering do happen with both nvidia and AMD, possibly you were lucky to never notice it before.

Grab them from AMD's website, they are listed under Optional Downloads on the same page you download the video card drivers from.

If anyone want to get FarCry 5, i can tell you (from experience on 18.3.2)
That new & shiny FC5 will fly on setup similar to mine

High/Ultra TAA 1440p solid 64-70FPS......
(for 1080p R280X will be enough for High/Medium IMO)

Also it's more of an evolution not revolution, Grass is looking amazing in this one tho
GFX wise it has a little better IQ candys than AC:O -> but FC runs a whole lot better (hmm an 3x better? #BetterRED)

I have a alpha game installed from ubisoft also open world, and i can also tell from experience it performs extremely well and holds 60fps at 2560x1080 at highest settings.
3440x1440 is another story, but runs also great at 60fps when you disable reflections from streets and water, but still looks good enough.
Maybe a indication why FC5 runs so good for you, it seems this game also uses similar if not same engine as AC:Origins except the water doesn't look as good.

 

Now im waiting for The Crew 2 Beta key
FC5 is indeed good optimised Open World (now it's in Alpha/Beta stage and it will gets better in time, im sure of that)

 

Pre-ordered Digital Deluxe edition, again you better be not lying about performance! *cough* 60fps cap *cough* an alpha game i'm playing *cough* that were some strange caughs.
