I installed 390.97 two weeks ago and ever since I frequently will start windows and it acts as if there’s no Nvidia driver, just the basic display adapter. I have to restart 2-4 times and finally it will be back to normal. So I tried uninstalling the drivers, used DDU, then installed 391.01. Same exact problem. I haven’t had this happen for several months then suddenly it’s happening with these 2 drivers? How do I stop this from happening?

    Try re-seating your graphics card

You mean cleaning with DDU? Always do that.
