Setup my HDTV via GPU, I had to manual enable full RGB or color were washed out but sound and performance all worked as it should.

Possibly a little off topic but I really wish AMD would release a 1080ti competitor. Just seems bad for everyone that they don't. I have a feeling a lot can be done to improve performance on a driver level from Nvidia but due to lack of competition, they have no real reason to spend the money and resources to do so.

Yep. The only difference I usually notice is whether or not 'Default' the washed out setting is enable or Nvidia settings but Limited instead of full. Until standards are created so all display attributes are correctly enumerated we will be seeing this...
    forever seems a good guess.

Here again the conversation and what I was referring to, so you are free of your own confusion (or the lack of reading the thread properly):

So it's about 1080p. First quote, my words, at 1080p I wouldn't think that a stock 5820K would be the issue to drive the standard display, which still is 60Hz.
So please stop telling me I'm confused if you can't be bothered to read the thread completely.

My comment was only simply addressing yours which was
If you think any CPU would become more limited at 4k, then you are confused. End of discussion.

At 1080p it's natural that you can handle the ultra grass, with a 1080Ti... :D That setting is still too much for any PC.

Although I'm not yet running 390.77 I'm still on 388.smthg and can't say my FF crashes regularly. In fact, I can't recall a FF crash. win10 ENT 64bit, latest final FF build.

I'm running 388.31 and not a single FF crash either.

    W10 x64 Home 16299.125 and latest FF.

My point of the comment is that it's not a cpu dependent feature like many are claiming. I'm running an I5 6600k and many claim a more high end cpu is required for the grass setting. So if it was really tied to the CPU, having a 1080ti shouldn't make a difference. Seems however that the setting is more tied to the GPU as by lowering my resolution, I'm able to max it.

If I was responding to later comments between you and another user I would have quoted that instead.

Had Firefox crash nvidia driver today. Not sure if the update (58.0.2) fixes it...

Injustice 2 went crashing down with a dwm.exe error lol. I'm not sure if it's a driver or a game issue but the the old 388 driver didn't have issues.

But they are Beta Drivers, right? I prefer not to install Beta versions, anyway, thanks.

I've found them to be just as stable as the non beta to be honest.
