hi guys i am going to buy new setup and have aproblem with MB.
What is the best MB for this Setup and upgrade in future, with better GPU and CPU, I am hoping u will help me solve that problem :)
this is Pc i am looking to build:
Intel Core i5-7600K with Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
    Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3000
    Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB And WD Blue 1TB SATA 6 Gb/s
Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB OC
    EVGA SuperNOVA 650
For MB I am thinking for Asus or Gigabyte:

    Gigabyte GA-Z270XP-SLI or GA-Z270X-Ultra Gaming or GA-Z270 gaming k3
Asus PRIME Z270-A or ASUS PRIME Z270-P
tell me what u think and for what MB u will go from this 5 mb-s

Personally I'd go with Asus due to better Bios firmware updates and general support. I think the PRIME Z270-A Is the better choice If you are willing to pay the extra cash, however both are good boards.
Also you might not be able to upgrade the cpu In the future, Intels next cpu's (Intel Core i5-7640K & Intel Core i7-7740K) will use a different Socket LGA 2066.
Just keep that In mind before you upgrade.

yy i know that the next gen will use 2066. i was thinking about some i7 same socket 1151.

    Hi 23Skazy,

i´ve just bought an Asus ROG Strix Z270F to go with my 7600K and i can tell you it´s a very nice MB. Good looking, good performance, good amount of features and a very nice BIOS. Besides that the onboard audio is surprisingly good, at least for me, and overclocks very well, i´m hitting 5,0Ghz with less than 1,3V and overclocked my memories from 2800 to 3200Mhz easily. I think i can overclock even higher but don´t if it´s worth it.
The biggest downside, from me, it´s the lack of USB ports... Keep in mind that i´ve been using the MB for a very short period of time, so i can´t speak about problems that may appear in the future.

The price is around 200€, in Portugal, but i managed to get it from 158€ thanks to a rebate from Asus. Also from what i know, the Asus Prime shares most of the features with the Z270F, you can compare them in Asus site: https://www.asus.com/us/Product-Compare/?products=raDdHADFSa42GEuM,ouGRuCxPqXbYglEa&b=0

    Hope this helps.

Aren´t those separate platforms??? The LGA2066 is the successor of the LGA2011 and in a year, Cannonlake is going to be released alongside the successor the LGA1151. Correct me if i´m wrong, please.

It's true, and that's the logical way of thinking about It judging by Intel's previous releases.

However If you take a look at the rumored specs of the 7740k & 7640k they are basically higher clocked Kaby Lake CPU's using a different socket (2066) according to the rumors.

It's all rumors and speculations at this point so take them with a pinch of salt. Tbh a new socket "2066" for a slightly higher clocked Kaby Lake chip doesn't make sense. And there's no guarantee that Cannonlake will still use LGA1151 since making new sockets Is better for business In general.

I´m also having an hard time understanding the logic between the releases of 2 quad cores on their high end platform... It´s so stupid!

As for Cannonlake, i now it will probably come with a new socket despite some rumours it may continue to use socket 1151 but with AMD being competitive again maybe Intel will rethink their strategy...

    ty for advice H83.
Strix series from asus are good, but in my country its 50e higher then prime z270-a and my budget for Mb is 150e. If i menage to get 50e more for mb i will go for strix series for sure.

Yea the Strix costs around 200€ here in Portugal so they are a little pricey. Too bad Asus ended the rebate they had for MBs otherwise you could have a Strix for around 150€.

But there are plenty of good Z270 motherboards available so i´m sure you´re going to find something you like.

I agree that a 7700 is much better investment, but bclk O.C on kaby is completely blocked with the last microcode update.

The price in my country for:
    i5 7600 - 207e
    i5 7600k - 225e
    i7 7700 - 288e
and for mobo Asus prime z270-a 143e.
So i am thinking the best solution is z270-a + i7 7700 ( if i menage 60e more for cpu)

4.2ghz 7700 would last longer, imo well worth extra 60e. Think you can use normal bclk too up to ~ 103-105mhz and oc like that to 4.4ghz or so.. if blck oc is really locked.

i tried on a Maximus IX Apex and the max i can archive was 4290Mhz ... over that refuce to boot. Kaby lake seems to be really picky with the BCLK

    Hello.

If it means anything on my mobo ( Gigabyte Gaming k3 Z270) it overclocked just by changing ratio to x48 , means it's running 4.8Ghz without any vcore change, i think it will bypass 5Ghz for sure. Default vcore is 1.195 in bios.

I updated bios to F5 which ( read other forum) changed alot because vcore was wrong on F2.

This is components i buy already:
    Asus PRIME Z270-A
Intel Core i5-7600k with Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
    Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3000
    Kingston HyperX 3K 240GB And WD Blue 1TB SATA 6 Gb/s
    EVGA SuperNOVA 650
Only Gpu are missing and i was wander what will u buy? I will go for evga, its same price like gigabyte but i want to see what u think guys.
    GIGABYTE GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5 Windforce OC 155e
    or
EVGA GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5 Super Clocked Gaming 158e

It´s a very nice rig. So nice i think it´s a waste to put a 1050Ti on it... Your system deserves better! Try to find a deal on a cheap 1060 or 470 if you can, of course. If you can not strech your budget any more, then just go with the Ti.

I think about that to, but...
    the 1060 3gb is 240e+
    and
    Rx 470 4gb 210e+
Maybe in next several months i will buy something stronger, but for start i will stay with 1050 ti. I think i will go with evga coz i read forums and all say the best for nvidia products is evga.

I have been using motherboard for i5 6600k. However, I am considering the Asus ROG Strix Z270F for the 7600K, as advised by one of my friends using it.

    Waiting for the next Gen
The Z270 Fatal1ty is pretty good, even more if you overclock.
Was one of my favorite boards.
